does desert sunlight flip my monsters face up or just change the ones already face up?

Desert Sunlight

All monsters on your side of the field are changed to face-up Defense Position.

Face-down cards are flipped and than all cards goes to Defendse Position.

To add: If multiple Flip Effect monsters are flipped at the same time by this effect, the controller of those effects will determine the order they go on the chain.

Your choice. But you have to declare which effect will be chain link 1 and which will be chain link 2.

If you choose Morphing Jar #2 as Chain Link 1 and Cyber Jar as Chain Link 2, CJ resolves first destroying all monsters on the field and then you take the next 5 cards and special summon all the Level 4 and lower. Then all of those cards are returned to your deck and you pick up cards until you picked up the same # of monsters as what CJ had summoned. The Level 4 and lower are placed face down and the rest is sent to the graveyard.

If you reverse it (CJ is Link 1 and MJ2 is Link 2), then you shuffle all monsters back into the deck, pick up cards until you have the same number of monsters that you shuffled back in, special summon the Level 4 and lower to face down defense, send the rest to the graveyard, then destroy all monsters, pick up 5 cards, special summon the Level 4 and lower and put the rest in your hand.

If you activate an effect by using Dessert Sunlight, Can you "Divine Wrath" it?
If you can, what would happen if multiple effects activate at the same time?

(Although I'm not really sure if you can "chain" to those flip-effect's resolution chain @_@)

If you have multiple Triggers that go off as a result of Desert Sunlight, you will only be able to use Divine Wrath on the very last effect that is placed on the chain. The reason being that Triggers are placed on the chain prior to any player recieving Priority to manualy activate an effect.

Example:

~ Cyber Jar and Morphing Jar are flipped

* Triggers are placed first, before any other effect can be activated.

[Chain Link 1] Cyber Jar
[Chain Link 2] Morphing Jar

* Now Priority is given and Divine Wrath can be played, but since it is a Counter Trap, it has to be played directly chained to the effect you want to negate.

So the only effect you can negate is Morphing Jar in this case. Had the order been reversed, you would only be able to negate Cyber Jar.

Hope that helps

Goal -

Thanks, as the goal is deck depleation this was the first time I had this happen. I selected Cyber Jar first to resolve and then MJ#2
It was interesting to see how many cards we went through with these 2 steps.
Divine Wrath is primarily used for the Dreaded Fiber Jar....
