Destroyed Spirit Monsters

This is probably a stupid quesiton, but I've never used, or encountered spirit monsters in a duel.

When a spirit monster is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, does it still go back to the hand at the end of the turn?

No they cannot be returned to your hand after they have been destroyed. As a Spirit Monster's main effect:

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card is returned to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn this card was Normal Summoned, Filpped Summoned, or flipped face-up.

Meaning, after it gets destroyed, it's in the graveyard for good, nothing can bring it back. And once it is destroyed, it's secondary effect:

This card is returned to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn this card was Normal Summoned, Filpped Summoned, or flipped face-up.

doesn't kick in.

if it hits the graveyard, its good as dead in there.....unless, your oponent uses something like "pharao's tresaure", or "monster reincarnation". that's becouse it doesn't special summon the spirit monster, it only return's them to your hand.
