Megaria, Empress of Dread
Creature: Dark Lord (Darkness)
Cost: 5
-Each creature in the battle zone has "slayer." (Whenever a creature that has "slayer" battles, destroy the other creature after the battle.)
How cool is that!? Here's my attempt at a deck that will try to use this effect to it's fullest potential.
Total: 45
Darkness: 18
Water: 13
Light: 14
4 Megaria, Empress of Dread
2 Mongrel Man
4 Bloody Squito
4 Aqua Soldier
3 Cetibols
4 Kalute, Vizier of Eternity
3 Jil Warka, Time Guardian
3 La Ura Giga, Sky Guardian
4 Dark Reversal
4 Death Smoke
4 Energy Stream
2 Crystal Memory
4 Cosmic Wing
Let's see here. We have Mongrel Man to help thin out the deck and keep a hand. Bloody Squito and La Ura Giga serve as cheap Blockers that take crazy advantage of Megaria's effect. Aqua Soldiers and Kalutes serve as an ever recycling offense to keep the opponent on their toes. Jil Warka serves double duty "slaying" creatures and tapping others for Aqua Soldier and Kalute to annihilate. Cetibols and Energy Stream help out Mongrel Man in the card drawing dept. with Crystal Memory to get certain specifics. Cosmic Wing makes creatures unblockable to help take out creatures in case Death Smoke isn't handy.
It looks like a pretty solid build, and gets around the problems that standard Slayers possess. Not too shabby for a deck I thought up off the top of my head, huh?
