LOL. OKay. :D

This reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask. Does anyone know what color the planet Byss is supposed to be? I can't find a picture anywhere.

Okay, I made a little update on Darth Maul and on Death Star, Death Star II. I worked in the the keyword Dark Force into his effect which is essentially what he cold do before, but now with the added option to exhaust sombody. I also just updated the look of the cards a lttle. Thanks to bishop, I found more resonable looking fonts.

In case I failed to mention this before, your artwork is absolutely awesome. Really.

Although I still say Anakin's eyes are a little scary. :p

It does seemed shut a little in the reduced resolution. I decided to just go with it. :D

Thanks by the way. I try. :) There is a Yoda card that I'm going to try out soon. I'm going to totaly cheat on the artwork for that one. So be warned. ;)

I'm sure that's what the guys who re-drew Otohime were thinking, too. *poke* :D

I look forward to it. The little green guy is cool. But I just can't even imagine what you'll do to him.

1 drop

50 ATK / 50 DEF

May be the target of Force cards, etc. When he comes into play, you can bring another Light Force character dude from your deck into play.

I'm guessing that wouldn't be the official text, but still. XD.

I'm going to totaly cheat on the artwork for that one.
I can't even imagine what you mean by that, unless you plan on taking that Yoda desktop, doing a little modifications...

*poke*

So what does Padmai or however-her-name-is-spelled do?

Bookmark this page. It shows me not caring about spelling. The next time I poke you, feel free to call me a hypocrite.

Yoda would definitly be a 7 drop or higher. I'm thinking I'll make him 8. Actually, thats exactly what I was thinking of doing with the art. I was messing around with the desktop image in Photoshop and applied a filter that just looked awsome. It had the painted look that I'm not adept at doing and was more dynamic then anything I could create myself. Plus it would lok mor like a real set if there was some variety to the art. (Not that I would object to seeing a set completely painted by Alex Ross one day.)

Padme' would be a 1 to 2 drop character. I'm still working out how the non-force sensitive charatcers will fit in. Rest assured though, that there will be a Princess Leah. And she WILL be in bikini. :p

So you want Yoda to be like a finisher, or close to it? That makes sense. Seeing as how he does tend to be in climactic scenes a lot.

And she WILL be in bikini. :p
Thank God, I was worried!

And here is the "cheat" one I mentioned. This is a movie promo image for Episode III obviously, but with some filters applied to make it look like a watercolor. I'm also straying from my usual balanced effects and going for something that I belive is broken. I'm betting this will trump an Apocalypse with a Battle of Wills and some force cards in play. There is going to be more use of Willpower in this afilliation as well. Though it won't hing upon it like in Green Lantern.

The 8 Drop Yoda, intoducing, yes. Hmmm hmmm hm.:dj_smile

Broken, broken, broken! Tsk, tsk, tsk...

I can't believe it, but that was the EXACT yoda image I had in mind when you said you were gonna cheat. Although I love what you've done with the filtering. Nice work.

Yeah, one of the things I've noticed about VS is that the turn 8s and up are all broken in there own way. However, the question arises as to whether your going to get to turn 8 or not. Some affiliations have downright broken effects for ther 8 Drops but then never get run because the decks finish the game before turn 8 anyway. <sigh>

Thanks for that.

It's a very good point.

It means I may need to revise the "curve" of my game. You remember that, right?

The more I think about it, the more that could be an issue. I WANT games to last until the very end when both players bust out their super monsters. But I also want the early-game to be important, too. So you can't just stall for 10 turns and then blow the opponent away at the end.

Anakin:
Typically, 3 drops have a total printed ATK/DEF of 7-9 (4/5, 4/4, 1/6, etc...). Bedlam goes down for face-up resources and, worst case, would only be 3/4 on turn 3. Xallarap KOs himself at the start of recovery unless he's stunned, which is tough to do to a 9 DEF hidden character.
At a 8 DEF, Anakin is going to be tough to hit even for the typical 7 ATK 4-drop.
As a character, I don't recall Anakin being all that defensive. A 5/4 would seem fitting.

Just my thoughts...

As a padawan, I saw Anakin as a character who largely stood up to obstacles rather then overcome them. It was awsome watching him chase down Zam on Coruscant, but in the end he did little to actualy defeat Zam, other then making her crash. It was Obi-Wan who eventually took her down.

On Geonosis, Anakin was a powerful force to be reckoned with, provided he didn't encounter anything stronger then a Genosian. Jango or anything with a weapon that did more then push really hard and Annie had to surrender along with the not force-sensitive Padme'.

So as a padawan, I saw Anakin as, not quite as skilled as he eventually became, but, man, did he manage to survive everything they threw at him. So yeah, I saw him as having more of a DEF then an ATK since, even though he liked plunging headlong into the fray, about the only thing he ever managed to succesfully do was not die. :)

3 Drop Jango Fett
