dimension wall question...

Two Dimension Walls (following the logic of other cards that affect/modify Battle Damage) would not stack. They'd only take the Battle Damage once.

Magic Cylinder, however is not redirected Battle Damage, but Effect Damage. So a Dimension Wall and a Magic Cylinder activated in response to the same attack would inflict the Battle Damage you would have taken and the ATK of the attacking monster, depending on the order activated.

This is why I don't bother editing my posts. So let me just correct myself (hopefully) before anybody else does.

If you chain Dimension Wall to a Magic Cylinder, Diension Wall resolves and waits around for Damage Calculation to inflict damage. Then Cylinder resolves and negates the attack and inflicts Effect Damage, so no Damage Calculation is ever calculated for Dimension Wall to inflict.

If you chain Magic Cylinder to Dimension Wall, Magic Cylinder resloves first and negates the attack, then Dimesion Wall resolves and we are faced with the same scenario as above.

Since I have these two small coins I'm just going to say if Dimension Wall is activated, Magic Cylinder can't be because Dimension Wall actvaties in the Damage Step.
Dimension Wall can't activate in the Damage Step. Read the first sentence of Dimension Wall's text. Its activation timing is the same as Magic Cylinder, Mirror Force, Sakuretsu Armor, Widespread Ruin, etc.etc.

Another words, Dimension Wall activates in response to your opponent declaring a monster attack. This happens to be the Battle Step.
