Hello all, my name is Chris Eiring, but you all can call me DimensionRuler or DR for short.

I was told about this site by a good friend of mine slither, who I just recently learned has passed away. I had never joined the site cause between work and school (I'm a full time Gas Station Attendant and Student) I never had the time to join the site. Now that I've heard about his tragic pass, I find myself compelled to join this site in respect to him. He believed I would enjoy it here and would be able to help the site and I wish to do what I can.

If you would like to know more about me feel free to ask, I'm a rather open book. I use most forms of IM's: AOL, YIM, MSN, and once I get to know some of you I'd love to talk to you on them as well. When I have time I'll post up my decks, my Have/Want List, as well as start making myself known around the site by posting my opinions on threads.
 
Hello Chris, welcome to the City. Good to meet a friend of ol' slither. He really did love this site. He seemed to really enjoy his time here, and I only wish I had made him a moderator sooner.

It's good to have you here, though I wish it had been due to less somber circumstances. Either way, though, I hope you enjoy your stay with us and we'll look forward to seeing you around. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for the Greetings guys, I'm sure I'll enjoy it here. I've been floating around cyberspace looking for a half decient TCG site since itstimetoduel.com went down after the admin stopped flipping the bill for it.

1: This is a difficult question cause there are many. My signature cards are Peten and Gren Maju Da Eiza, but my "favorite" card is Kuriboh in any way shape and form.
2. I run many decks, but my best deck currently and the only one I really run in Tournies is my Dark Dimension deck, http://www.cogonline.net/forums//threads/51438
 
What exactly happened to It'sTimeToDuel? Seems the old .com domain says it's been hacked, but there's a .net site in it's place with very little activity (based on some of the posts I read, not on any time I spent there). I always thought they where having a good run there.
 
Kirk the admin and owner of the old .com decided to start a new family a few months after the death of his wife. Since he was no longer active on the site he decided to stop paying for it so the .com died. The .net is still trying to get up and running but its not working all that well. As you said, there is very very little activity, and its just what little members we could get back from the old .com.

It does seem that a couple of new peeps own the old .com name and have posted up some short of hacker thing, I'm not sure whats going on there.
 
Sounds like you enjoy RFP and fiends. I love it!!!! Do you happen to have a Purple Kuriboh like your avatar? If not, I might be able to offer up one in trade.

luckily I do have that very same Kuriboh, its one of my prized possessions cause I got it off a friend of mine. Its so VERY CUTE!! Of course I"m always looking to expand my Kuriboh Collection.

And yes I do love RFP and Fiend decks, infact; RFP is basically the only type of decks I ever build. Perhaps you can tell me what you think of my Dark/Fiend deck, I'll be posting up more of my decks later on.
 
Most definitely!!! I'll keep an eye out for your deck. I'm a fiendish duelist myself and have dabbled in an RFP deck or two, but I'm always looking to learn from somebody who has worked with the tactic more.

It took me a while to get my purple kuriboh as well and I definitely value it as well. I'm currently running a "fuzzy logic" engine with 3x Kuriboh and 2x Flute of Summoning Kuriboh and I like to have 1 of each type in there 8^D

But alas I ramble....

I remember when that happened, but I didn't realize he was the owner of the site. Oh well, at least it's good to know he's moving on with his life. He had a couple of daughters, didn't he?

I saw slither's name on the .net site, so looks like he was trying to support them too.
 
Dillie - O: I did the exact same thing for a real long time in my Dark/Fiend RFP deck. I ran The Purple Kuriboh, a common Kuriboh, and the original MRD Kuriboh. However, to make room for some changes I dropped one of the flutes and the common Kuriboh. :(

Digital Jedi: Yeah Kirk had two daughters and the woman he ended up moving in with had i think 2 sons as well. The .net was original Mine, Slithers, and Odysseus's idea, but as none of us wanted to pay for a domain and IAAN was willing to the site fell under IAAN's control. Eventually Ody lost time for it (with work and school) and due to some management decisions by IAAN slither decided to just leave the site.
