I know we had a discussion about the DR2 packs a while back for someone here, but I just finished sending this e-mail to UpperDeck Entertainment. FYI, in case you run into the same thing.
I'll also be sure to post their reply when/if I get one.

Subject: Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Revelation 2 ... possible fakes?
Hello, I just recieved a few DR2 Yu-Gi-Oh! cards from eBay, and I have a concern that they are not legitimate. First off, I've seen a handful of counterfeit cards, and if these are fake, this might be a real problem for you guys. They're too perfect. Significantly nicer than the real cards!
The main thing that made me look closer is that they are extremely glossy on the front. Not the super-fake silly glossy, but more like a legit card that's been spray painted with a very light glossy coating. The gold holo-foil lettering is also significantly better than a standard UDE card's. Very similar to the gold foil used with the new HL2-EN001 Cyber Jar Parallel Rare card. When compared side-by-side to a known legit card, the effect text is also crisper and more precise than it should be. Again, they are seemingly BETTER cards than they should be.
All other details about the cards are seemingly perfect. When compared side-by-side with known legit cards, the images are perfect, the artwork foil effect is perfect, everything. The Eye of Anubis hologram is precisely the same as it should be, and is not raised or depressed, nor can it be picked at.
Since everything else is so perfect, I'm left wondering ... were European prints of DR2 different than that of the U.S. prints? Were multiple techniques used to print the cards from this set?
Please let me know. I would hate to accuse an eBay seller I've dealt with for years of something like this without being 100% certain it's not just something you guys did in printing. (And if it is ... keep up the good work! I'd like ALL my cards to be like these!)
Oh, the cards in question are:
2x DR2-EN066 Dark Magician of Chaos
1x DR2-EN084 Levia-Dragon Daedalus
1x DR2-EN134 Blowback Dragon
I can scan in a DR2-EN066 card next to my known legit one for you if you think it will help. I'm not sure the scanner will be able to show what I'm talking about, though. (I don't have any of the other 2 cards to compare against)
