dramatic rescue

Hey guys,
I need some clarification regarding this trap.
If my amazoness attacks a face down man-eater bug and my opponent designates my amazoness as a monster to be destroyed, after i send the amazoness back to my hand and special summon another monster does the effect of the man-eater bug still resolve my special summoned monster gets destroyed instead? And does the man-eater bug still die if my amazoness's attack is higher than its defence?
Another thing, if my amazoness is targetted during my battle phase, for example by cards like sakuretsu armor or ring of destruction, is it still possible to activate dramatic rescue?
And for cards like tribute to the doomed and dark core or change of heart, after i activate dramatic rescue, do the effect of these spell cards still resolve on my newly summoned monster?

To answer your first question. You cannot activate Dramatic Rescue during the Damage Step. So Man-Eater Bug will still destroy your monster that it designated. Afterwards Man-Eater Bug is sent to the graveyard that was destroyed in battle.

To Answer your second question. Yes you may, your are not in the Damage Step.

To answer your third question. Cards like Tribute to the Doomed and/or Change of Heart designate a target upon activation, and only designates 1 target. If the the target of the card is no longer there, the card will resolve with no effect. So no, your newly summoned monster will not be targetted.

You wouldn't be able to activate Dramatic Rescue in the Damage Step. I'm afraid the point is mute.

Yes, you can activate Dramatic Rescue during your battle phase as long as you haven't entered into the Damage Step yet. You can even target your Amazoness monster yourself and use Dramatic Rescue. (An interesting way to summon your Dark Magician of Chaos, Jinzo, or Creator)

No, they would not resolve on your newly summoned monster. If you chain Dramatic Rescue then it would become chain link 2 and Tribute to the Doomed or Dark Core would become chain link 1

Chain link 2 Dramatic Rescue resolves
Chain link 1 Tribute to the Doomed resolves without effect (as it's target is no longer on the field. Tribute to the Doomed and Dark Core may not change it's target)

One more thing

Hey guys thanks a lot for your replies. I have one more thing though
1. If my opponent decides to flint my amazoness and i activate dramatic rescue, the flint is destroyed right?
2. If my opponent decides to use ring of D when i have just summoned an amazoness, can i chain dramatic rescue to ring of D and summon another monster instead?

The Flint will be destroyed by the Game Mechanic since it has no legal monster to equip to. Flint will then go to the Graveyard because in order for it to reattatch to another monster, it must be equiped to a monster that is destroyed. Your amazoness was not destroyed, but was sent to your hand.

Yes. This is how it will look like:

Player Deadlocker summons Amazoness Fighter
Player Deadlocker passes on his priority
Player B Responds with Ring of Destruction and targets Amazoness Fighter
Player Deadlocker chains Dramatic Rescue and targets Amazoness Fighter
neither player chains

Resolution:
CL 2: Player Deadlocker sends Amazoness Fighter back to his hand and special summon Blue Eyes White Dragon in ATK position.
CL 1: Ring of Destruction resolves without effect.

attacking

Sorry but i have one more thing.
If my opponent has one monster and he attacks my amazoness, and i activate dramatic rescue and special summon a monster from my hand, can the monster attack again?

In the case that Dramatic Rescue were successfully used in one of the chains of the Battle Step, a Replay should be done, allowing your opponent's monster to reconsider the attack, in my opinion.

I believe you can chain Dramatic Rescue only when an effect targets an Amazoness.
If you activate Dramatic Rescue during your opponent's Battle Phase, there will be no Replay because the number of Monsters on the field will not change.

Dramatic Resuce
Card text:

You can only activate this card when a monster on your side of the field that includes "Amazoness" in its card name, or is named "Amazon Archer", is specifically designated as a target by a card. Return the targeted Monster Card to its owner's hand and Special Summon another monster from your hand in face-up Attack or Defense Position.

Certainly the number of monsters on the defending side of the field changes if it's your opponent's battle phase and your Amazoness monster is targeted and you use Dramatic Resuce. First you return the Amazoness monster to your hand -1 monster on the defending player's side of the field) then you special summon a monster (+1 monster on the defending player's side of the field) Just because you end up with the same amount of monsters doesn't mean that the number didn't change.
