Drawing games & first blood

I have been seeing many Last Turn decks running around with self destruct button in them. We all know what self destruct button does. Draws the game!
But what would happen in a tourament if someone used self destruct button enough times to make the match be considered a draw. In a tourament i have heard that it is house rules on how they decide what to do to decide who will win. Such as first blood and if we do go to first blood is it any life addition or subtraction. or just damage from your opponet?

i just participated in a regional where a Last turn deck won. in one of his matches against one of my friends, the guy used self destruct 4 times and on the fifth time as time was expiring pulled off the last turn combo, so he won the match with 4 draws and 1 win. the deck was amazing to see in the finals, he really had it well thought out.

I believe that it's officially "Sudden Death". Whoever has the highest LP at the first change wins.

In the last regionals I went to, they changed it to who ever had the most LP when time expired. The one prior to that was first LP change. I asked a judge about this and he said every time he judges a regional, it gets changed. So I would ask before the event begins just to make sure.

It all depends on the round and such.

The policy papers covers all the tie-breaking scenarios when times expires and that is how it is SUPPOSED to be done in a Sanctioned Tournament.

As densetsu_x has stated it's all in the policy statements and hasn't changed in quite sometime, though a last year, if memory serves me correctly, it did change a time or two. It seems that I often hear that "Back home" judges do it another way. There shouldn't be variation from what is stated in the policy documents.

Last Turn:

"Select 1 monster on your side of the field and send all other cards on the field and in their respective owners' hands to their respective Graveyards."

Electric Snake will not activate when sent to the graveyard by last turn.
