From the Netrep Card Registry:

Card Name: Dream Clown
Card Type: Effect Monster
Monster Type: Warrior
Attribute: EARTH
Level: 3
Attack: 1200
Defense: 900
Card Text:
When this card is changed from Attack Position to Defense Position, select and destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field.

Looking at this, it is obvious that it has tons of potential in terms of new deck types. The most common deck with this in it is the clown deck (duh). Using Ryu-Kishin Clown to alter its position fast along with Crass Clown's position, the opponents monsters are worthless. Using Stumbling activates its effect instantly, where as the other popular stall cards give it one turn before it can change to defense mode. Another deck that I have started up with this card is a Defensive Warrior Deck.In this deck, my monsters are protected by both Stumbling and Level Limit Area-B. some monsters included are: Marauding Capt., Command Knight, Total Defense Shogun, DD Warrior Lady, Mataza the Zappper, and Big Shield Gardna (don't have it yet). So far it has owned in the tourneys with a 7-1-0 record. This card is great in any stall deck and I encourage others to use him.

I do so love this monster <s> Along with the fine little review to start this thread I'd like to add a few things...

When I'm demonstrating to a new or fairly new player the importance of a well constructed deck I often pull out my "No Foils" deck. It's a Dream Clown deck with Swarm Of Scarabs and Swarm of Locusts, TP Gravity Binds, Stumbling, Wabaku, Fairy Box, and recently Astral Barrier which is a great additon. There are obviously other key card in the deck but this one is a great deck to show somone that a good and competitive deck can be made for a reasonable price. It's also a great example of how a carefully constructed deck with good synergy can prevail over decks with all the staples. ( I can't wait to get my hands on a couple of common Messenger of the Peace from the Dark Beginnings set) Around our area we often call this deck type, "Mother May I?"

Another great card to play with Dream Clown and Stumbling is Tragedy

Pretty cool card. I remember in the early days of Pharoah Servant, one of my friends had a 'Clown control' deck. It was very effective back then. With all the new support for stall decks like stumbling, Level limit, I'm sure it would have been even more deadily. It has a great effect. Heh, I love how stumbling will activiate its effect right off the bat.
