And another question :p

what's better? a E-hero deck, or a D-hero deck? Personally I belive those destiny heroes can be quite dangerous though they don't have as much support as the E-hero cards. But on the other hand, they don't rely on fusions and have their own tributemonsters. The problem though is their attack. If they were strong enough I'd be all over them, but how can you make them any stronger? Dark city only provides some support during damage calculation and that's it. And equip cards,...wel 'nough said ;). Anyhow, any comments? thanks Greets

Honestly, I think it depends on the duelist and the deck (I know, not exactly sticking my neck out here :p ), but in my opinion I like the D-Heroes more, even though they currently have less support. Dasher alone is a pretty slick mon. Just ask Jathro. :D

D Hero for me. I mean, if you take out the Fusion E-Hero, only Wildheart is playable. D hero got Dasher, Doom Lord, and Diamond Dude that can fit in a non D Hero themed decks. While for E Hero, only Wildheart can fit in a non E Hero themed decks.

I would have to agree that D-Heroes are currently better. And yes, Dasher is pretty sweet. I also like Diamond Dude and am currently looking for ways to best utilize him. I think we will continue to see more and more support for both themes though, so time will tell.

That's another reason I believe D-Heroes might be stronger. They don't have near the E-Hero support yet and still manage to hang in there.

btw: Happy Birthday, Jathro!

Well its true that the D-heroes may have more potential, but I wonder if it would be possible to make a competitive deck with? The low-attack problem is still a fact, I was actually thinking about command knight or something like that no?

I don't think either can make a truly competitive (I am assuming we are talking SJC level) deck at this point, but the D-Heroes have some splashability and are currently looking a little stronger. But some solid support cards can change all that....

Thank you.

And I agree, D-Heroes are much easier to splash (or at least, build around) without needing a deck type like most E-Heroes need. I say most because believe it or not, Elemental Hero Neos is fun to play around with. And I suppose you could try to work in some of the Neospacians, but I wouldn't necessarily advise it.

Yeah, but that Neo-Panther thing just calls to me. That might be a card that would be more fun to lose with than some decks are to win with. (20 word sentence! Bonus Points! :rolleyes )

After reading through the various post here, I have to completely agree that there is really no Elemental Hero that can be put in just "any" Deck, other than Elemental Hero Wildheart, and I have been playing him since I got my hands on one when the Set was released.

The Destiny Heroes are by far the more interesting of the Hero's, and even if you dont think of either group as being competitive, you still have to find each D-Hero's effect appealing, compared to E-Hero's and their mostly Vanilla Cards.

I definately agree. If I only played competitive.......well I wouldn't be playing much now that I think about it. I much prefer to try new strategies, although admittedly they usually revolve around Fiends. ;) I live vicariously (sp?) through my son with the other decks.

I lean more towards the D-heroes, but that's because I like the originality, and the challenge of using them effectively. I'd love to make a competitive D-hero deck. Though I'll more than likely end up making a E/D-hero deck.

Yup, the D-heroes do seem to be more fun to play with, especially since they have some wicked eefects as was pointed out earlier. However, as was suggested to me more than once, it's best not to go solo with D-heroes. Its better to go with something else, supported by the D's. So naturally my question is: what kind of deck type would be best to combine with our D's?

P.S. Thanks for the comments so far, you're really helping me out here! greets

By the way, I belive I saw someone saying that Elemental hero Neos is fun to play with. So I'm assuming we're talking a neo-spacien deck. So how about that? If I'm not mistaken, new neo-spacians will be out soon, and they definitly beat the whole fusion problem Elemental heroes have been plaged with since the start, despite the huge number of support cards:s. Of course, in order for a neo-spacian deck to work, you have to rely on the fieldspell 'neospace', but would it be worth it??

That was me that mentioned about Neos being fun to play with. And no, I didn't mean with Neospacians. I meant in a Dark World deck. Support it with "E - Emergency Call" and "O - Oversoul." Mix vigorously. Swing hard for game.

What about E- HERO BLADEDGE?

My main reservation with Bladedge is he is a 2-trib monster. Sure he is 2600ATK w/ Trample, but I can grab a 2400ATK Saber Beetle or Bitelon for only 1-trib.

Bladedge can take out the Monarchs, but there are many other ways to do that and with 200ATK makes less of difference when you are running over a 1500DEF (or less) monster.

I agree on that but he's still playable. Think of using Trojan Horse. I'm not argueeing thou. Your right about Saber Beetle and what is Bitelon agian?

Bitelon just came out in POTD. Think Saber Beetle's 2400ATK w/ trample, but he is WATER/Reptile with a higher DEF.

Yeah, I agree with you about Bladedge. I forgot we were comparing Heroes and overstated the case a little. He is playable, but as you state, he needs his support. What's that E-Hero card that lets you summon any E-Hero from your hand? It might see a little more play with the addition of Neos.
