End o Anubis vs Hyrogeddon

will The End of Anubis negate Hyrogeddon effect?
a friend said that End will negate Hyro cuz it says the monster will go to the graveyard.

But i believe that sending the monster to the graveyard (due to battle) is a cost,and therefore the effect cannot be negated by End.

so which begs the question....does End negate it or not?

Hydrogeddon neither targets a card in the Graveyard, nor does it have an effect that activates in the Graveyard. The End of Anubis only negates those two kind of effects.

Also, the monster destroyed by battle goes to the Graveyard because of basic battle mechanics. Your not "sending" anything to the Graveyard. The monster is going to the Graveyard because it was destroyed by battle, just like any other monster would when destroyed by battle. There are no costs associated with Hydrogeddon's effects.

EOA is useful for negating pesky the CotH, Premie, MoF, Mask, Sangan, Necrofear, Tomatoes, Shining Angels, etc.

Nope.

Now Grave Protector would negate 'geddons effect because the monster is sent to the deck instead of the GY. Same for Banisjer of the Light, Macrocosmos, etc...

Those cards wouldn't negate it, they just make it impossible to trigger.
