Eschew Obfuscation
How many have tried (or even heard of, for that matter) the TCG out of NY called EPIC?
You can find the web site here: http://www.epictcg.com/
Basically, it has been likened to a cross between Magic and YuGiOh!. Of course that could just be marketing. I have been playing it since it debuted a little over a month ago and truly enjoy it. Every card has great power, but you are limited in what you can do each round, so it requires great strategy and patience.
You begin with 30 Mojo (life Points-I know, cheesy, but you have to call them something and not get sued). In one game, I had 27 and worked my opponent down to 4 with a full field. He drew a card that returned everything on the Field, in the Discard Pile back into the deck and left me with one card in my hand. He had much better hand control (and a Magic player over his shoulder helping him out (it's okay, it was a teaching game) and manage to drop me down to zero after four turns. I only needed one of four cards to finish him and didn't draw it. Wild, huh?
Here is the quick start guide: http://www.epictcg.com/quick_start_rules.pdf
The rest, you can scope for yourself. Let me know what you think. Especailly if you think it stands a chance to catch on. So far, I have not seen these cards on sale at the usual haunts (Wally World, Target, etc.). You might only be able to get them, so far, at your local stores.
