Equip cards and targeting.

Ive read the topic about targeting and the explanations are very good.
But i still have a doubt, equip cards like megamorph, axe of despair and etc. are considered cards that have a specific target?
I am asking because i was in doubt if i can equip a dragon monster with megamorph while Lord of D. is face-up on the field.
Thank you.

yeah, you can't equipe a card to a dragon while Lord of D. is face-up on the field. Unless the equipe card doesn't effect the monster but your opponent. Like Gravity Axe- Grarl, the dragon doesn't gain the 500 but your opponent still can't change the battle position of his/her monsters.

I beg to differ. Lord of D. states that a Dragon-type monster may not be targetted by a Magic/Spell, Trap, or monster effect as long as it remains face-up on the field. Since Equip Magic/Spell Cards target, Lord of D. would prevent them from being used on a Dragon in the first place. If an Equip Magic/Spell Card was already on a Dragon-type monster when Lord of D. comes into play, the Equip Magic/Spell Card would not be affected by Lord of D.
