Can I play fairy's hand mirror and equip ooponent's axe of dispair to my own monster?

No. You would need "Tailor of the Fickle" if you are trying to accomplish that.

is that a ruling? because the way i see it, the fairy hand mirror states "Switch the opponent's Spell Card effect that specifically designates 1 monster as a target to another correctly targeted monster. " nothing said abt countering.. an equip card on the field still has an effect that specifically designates 1 monster as a target. sry to be a bit 'naggy' :wink:
You only designate 1 monster as a target during the activation of a Spell or Trap card.

I don't understand why Fairy's Hand Mirror could not be activated to switch an equipped Equip Card to another target. It is designating a Spell Card and a Monster Card, not two Monster Cards. It seems to me that either card would work. What am I missing?
