Okay folks, please understand this is a very raw and rough draft of a deck that just came to me the other day. It most CERTAINLY needs refinement if not a complete revamp...but the theory is what I want to get across and keep in tact as it's refinded.
The idea is to take advantage of the FIRE type monsters, in paticular The Thing in the Crater and the Horus monsters.
The Fire monster / burn thing has been done and it's not really what I'm after here. I'm going more for an aggressive Fire deck.
The very first list includeed a Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys. As I look at it today I realize with the three Royal Decrees that might very well be counterproductive and kill my own setup <shrug> As Burt Reynolds used to say, "It seemed like a good idea at the time!"
Also at first glance Tyrant Dragon may not seem like a good idea due to the special summoning requirements....I looked a little closer though, notice that the special summoning requirements are only applicable when it's special summoned from the graveyard....not the hand. So The Thing in the Crater's effect will bring Tyrant Dragon to the field without needing to tribute a dragon type monster.
Molten Destruction will make Horus The Black Fame Dragon LV4 much more likely to destroy a monster obviously. UFO Turtle will special summon another of itself, Horus LV4, The Thing in the Crater, or Mased Dragon.....Masked Dragon will special summon another of itself or Horus LV4 giving me excellent field presence.
The reason I went for Fissue rather than Smashing Ground is two fold...first I don't have any extra Smashing Ground!...Secondly I'm more concerned about Spirit Reapers and recurrsion monsters (typically lower in atk.) than I am being over powered by large atk monsters.
I know I'm heavy on the monsters and light on the spell cards. As I'll add later, just haven't had time to think it all the way through...could use some help trimming this down and adding in Appropriate spells.
I wanted to build into the side deck some possibilities of battle piercing damage as well as give the possibility of some burn.
I'd very much appreciate your thoughts and help building this one as I just haven't had time to think it through fully.
