Desertapir. Use his effect to flip monsters face down in conjunction with Tsukuyomi, like Needle Worm. They are hard to get a hold of since they are Short Prints. It took me forever, admittedly because I didnt really take to AST much, just to get 4 of them.

yeah, thats a nice idea....but how could i manage to use his effect more than once? flip down a mj#2 and re-flip it again?...

But if i think about it, it doesn't matter how many cards i play, so i'm sure i don't deck myself out....o_O

thanks

Desert Sunlight is pretty much a Staple in a Deckout Deck. I notice you dont have that in your deck list.

Drop those Ojama Trio's and put in a few Desert Sunlight's.

Desert Sunlight will allow you to flip all cards on your side face-up defense. Since they didnt change Battle Position, you can use Desertapir's effect to reflip another monster like Needle Worm face-down and still flip summon it the same turn. Then use Tsukuyomi on Desertapir and flip him face-down and flip summon him to re-flip Needle Worm face-down again.

If anything, it will force your opponent to go after Needle Worm, hopefully with an Exiled and not a Nobleman.

Yes, but Ojama Trio is excellent if comboed with Morphing Jar #2.... 3 additional monsters to pick up...

I think I'll put in 2 Desert Sunlights, just because it doesn't matter....

thanks very much!!
Incorrect. The tokens cannot ever leave the field. So they never enter your deck, but rather cease to exist. You opponent will not be picking up three extra monsters.

You might actually be able to make this deck work with 3 Solemn Judgment's, but you REALLY need to get rid of those Ojama Trio's!!! I know you are trying to combo them off Ground Collapse, but its just not worth it since you are giving him a monster that he can just Creature Swap with you, or use with Enemy Controller to take control of one of your monsters.

Those 3 cards can be changed out for Sakuretsu Armor or Waboku.

You only need 2 Messenger's with the high amount of Stall you have.

I think you've got most everyones ideas so far. And rates are rare around here. We don't like to pass judgement. But I think the slow down might mean that there isn't a lot that needs to be done to your deck so far. Although, I'm not certain I agree with there being too many cards (being that I run an effective 56 card deck).

The majority of our members are from the western hemisphere, and are probably (mostly) asleep right now. (Which is where I should be. Asleep I mean. :p) I'd give the thread another look-see tommorow evening (eastern time) and see if you get any more comments. So far I'd say the deck looks about as solid as you can make it in the current meta.

So basically this deck wins by deck out or stall out from what i can tell, 5 things will wreck your match, Light of Intervention (not likely), nobleman (possible but not that likely), mystic swordsman lvl2 (very likely), mataza (not that likely). Assuming you plan on abusing SJ effectively, I don't see how this deck can be consistent with that many cards, as in you have to catch a horrid hand (like really bad) and with this many cards its bound to happen more often. Mataza just kind of gets under most of your protection (bind, level, messenger), as does lily. I feel like this deck needs some kind of pressure besides deck out since the opponent could just hold his nobleman till you show your needle or save something else for that needle.
