Right, you are on my side, aren't you? I mean, you just pretty much proved my point right there. Call of the Mummy is useful ONLY in the opening hand, and in the very next turn after Dark Hole/vortex/etc. Book is useful ANYTIME. And dead draws can lead to something else when you least expect it. You can save your Book of Life for when your opponent isn't looking, and then swarm for a complete OTK. Dead draw at first, but effective later. You see? Book > Call no question of it.sirch1964 said:Monkeys are off limits (hahahahh). I don't know about removing the other Call of the Mummy. 3 Books are great but being able to use the Call, especially after a Dark Hole is important. If you opp. hits you with a Mystical Space Typhoon on your call and then hits you with Dark Hole, have additional calls will give you back the quick lay down. you know, you play call and bring out Ryu Kokki followed up with a normal summons of Pyramid Turtle, suicide it to allow you to bring out another big card is intimidating. Never discount a cards ability just because it doesn't serve a purpose at a moment you don't need it. Dead draws can sometimes lead to something else when you least expect it.
I think I would add Soul Exchange, shallow grave and Nobleman of Extermination. These cards should give you some more flexiblity with the deck.
