future fusion

I have in my fusion deck only 3 x cyber end dragon, and I activate future fusion forgetting that 1 of my cyber dragons currently is in the graveyard, what would happen? the official rulings say:

You cannot activate "Future Fusion" if you do not have a Fusion Monster in your Fusion Deck and the appropriate Fusion Material Monsters in your Main Deck.

but the content of the deck should be unknown (cyber dragons are just an example, it mai happen with any fusion monster)

I would assume it would fizzle and be sent ot the GY. Since it was activated illegaly it should not stay on the field. There are many judges who will be quick to point any errors in my logic. :D

Also, the deck my be unknown, but the Graveyard is not. If you know your decklist, then a quick scan of the GY should solve that problem.

Just the fact that you activate Future Fusion, you make it somewhat known what you have in your deck and the monster you intend to special summon with it. That's the chance you take with using that card. It's also one of the reason's why it's good to couple Future Fusion with Overload. It gets the cards in the graveyard quickly and then enables you to then remove them from play and special summon your fusion monster that turn.
By the way, why would someone have Cyber End Dragon x3 with only one Cyber Dragon in the deck and expect to be able to summon it with Future Fusion?

It would be an illegal activation and it would be returned to the hand. Then you can legally activate it and send the appropriate monsters to the Graveyard from your deck.

Yeah, but only if you're using Chimeratech Overdragon, Gatling Dragon or Labyrinth Tank. Overload Fusion only Fusion Summons a DARK Machine-Type monster, remember? No Flame Swordsman for you.
