The main problem I see with these Gadget decks and their 3x Smashing, Fissure, Hammer Shot, etc. is that the monster needs to be face-up. Why these decks don't run Swords of Revealing Light and/or Ceasefire is beyond me.

Yes that is a good point. However how to fit them in? Someone has also suggested Overload Fusion. But again how to fit it in and is it ultimately worth it?

To solve the face-down problem I mainly just use a monarch as an answer. If they slow down the game, the gadgets are perfect tribute bait. However, I can't imagine face-down monsters to be much of a problem really. The only thing at maximum they can do is stop your battle phase for the turn, for example, running into a Spirit Reaper or a D.D. Warrior Lady. But then again, a Rush Recklessly or something like that can be used to continue the battle phase. Similarly, if you run into a recruiter, Divine Wrath can simply stop those. Your opponent will need to play aggressively to win against gadgets. Setting will only allow you to swarm with gadgets which will be the opponent's cause for demise hopefully.

oooh, this build. The main problem of this build, is that if you dont draw a gadget, your hand is dead more so than the normal build. The reason for that is the Rush Recklessly. You really dont need to run over monsters in this deck. the automatic monster-in-the-hand is moer than enough to pressure the opponent.

I would drop 2-3 Rush recklessly as well as all of the divine wraths (the solemns i personally dont like, but that card depends on the players preference more than anything else). You haev snipe hunters, you dont need much of anything else

+1 Overload Fusion
+1 Sangan
+1-2 Dekoichi

this will either keep the same amount of cards or -1 to the total amount. Either way the dekoichi will help you draw into the needed cards, so will the sangan. The overload is just an extra win condition.

Not sure if you should combine BOTH Pot of Avarice and Overload Fusion. One of them should be in main and another in sidedeck.

Having Pot of Avarice and Overload Fusion at the same time can work nicely. Most likely you'll have plenty of monsters in no time in the graveyard. Besides, even if you didn't have enough monsters, you can just ditch Pot of Avarice or Overload Fusion... whichever is dead for Snipe Hunter. :eek:ldwink

Contrary to what it looks like I'm not trying to build a Fifth Gadget deck or w/e they call it. Im just going on few ideas here.

I can understand that if my opponent plays face-down thats bad for him but still there are people that do that and seriously though what harm can a little stall and well burn damage do? Well the burn possibly 5000LP or w/e but lol can't complain about that now can we? :p

I don't really feel that running Monarchs or things like Dekoichi and Sangan are really gonna help speed the deck up at all. I mean with Sangan I either have to wait until it is destroyed or tributed and well Dekoichi you have to set and then wait so yeah. But thats mainly the reason I included the Helping Robo for Combat.

Helping Robo For Combat
Effect Monster (Machine / LIGHT / 4 Stars / ATK 1600 / DEF 0)

Each time this card destroys your opponent's monster as a result of battle, draw 1 card, then select and return 1 card from your hand to the bottom of your Deck.

So basically that could work in my advantage if using Overload Fusion and Pot of Avarice together. But that is also why I use Rush Recklessly as it can be used with my Gadgets offensively and helps to bosst Robo up over Gravekeeper's Spies and thing like CYber Dragon's (pity it's 100 points shy of a Monarch though :( )

The Divin Wrath I really don't know about. I mainly had them decked against Monarchs but yeah.

This isn't meant to focus clearly on either Gadgets or Snipe Hunter's it's just meant to be a sort of fusion of the 2 for lack of a better word.

But yes as Peps said I can ditch the less useful for Snipe :)

ok i see where your going with this...but i run rush recklessly in most of my decks, and they are the worst draws to get. When playing with gadgets, if you dont draw a gadget, its over before it even starts. Maybe throwing in a sangan and a dekoichi ( one actually works) and taking out one rush and one robo, to make a hybrid. Sangan can fetch snipe or a gadget, both of which are main players in the deck. the only reason i say add dekoichi is because if you toss one rush then you would have to toss one robo. Actually if i think about it....if you add the sangan just drop a rush and a robo and keep it at 45 cards. Now if you lower your deck count to.....42. then I believe you wouldnt need sangan at all
