With the release of the new Structure deck , everybody is afraid how to deal with the abuse of the Gadjets . I do not understand what is all that trouble ? I have read in forums some saying to use Skill Drain , or Forced Back (s) , but there is a card that offers a coplete shutdown of the Gadjet decks .

If you did not get my hint , it is System Down . Keep 3 copies in your side and everything is over ...

Don't you agree ?

Not really since all it does is remove Machines on the field and graveyard from play. It has no effect on what's in the player's hand. And face it, you'll either be getting rid of 2 tops or just simply losing because if they're swarming and have 3 or more on the field, chances are you're going to die long before. Side deck maybe... would be more effective against a Chimeratech deck.

There are two cards that will help with the Gadgets.

1) King Tiger Wanghu - It will destroy them once they hit the field and...

2) A blast from the past, Chain Destruction! It will destroy all of the one type from the hand AND the deck.

Just keep in mind, it won't be very helpful if they are playing an Overdragon deck...

System Down, Acid Rain, that works, but JUST against Gadgets. You have to prepare for other things, so why not mix up things that can counter Gadgets AND other stuff at the same time? And the biggest prob with Gadgets is not the field, but the HAND. You have to get rid of Gadgets in HAND. (Or negate the effect, i.e. Skill Drain)

By this stuff like Skill Drain also drops, (since it'll likely kill your strat as well)

Anti-Gadget cards IMO

Anti-Gadget Field Presence

Asura Priest
King Tiger Wanghu
Hydrogeddon
Royal Decree (For your monsters to actually kill Gadgets by result of battle)

Anti-Gadget Hand Disruption

Confiscation
Trap Dustshoot
Mind Crush
Don Zaloog
Spirit Reaper
Card Destruction
Morphing Jar
Chain Destruction (Seriously, this can kills Gadget outright. Destroys all 3x copy of either Green/Red/Yellow, and the whole search effect DIES. Like say your foe summoned Green Gadget and Chain Destruction is activated. They searched Red. And next turn, they summon Red to search Yellow. And that's it. All Yellow Gadgets are dead cards since there's no more Green Gadgets in your foe's deck. The only saving grace is Pot of Avarice. Of course, Chain Destruction is only good against Gadget... and thus not too recommended.)

Actually, since it works on Flip Summons as well, it will also kill Old Vindictive Magicians and Apprentice Magicians as well as Giant Rat, Mystic Tomato, etc if they are just summoned right to the field. Can you say "Ouch" for Monarch decks?

my anti-gadget card is my deck devistation viruses in my darkworld deck i use 2 and an extra zombria for an easy deck dev tribute, just so you know i have a 40 card dark world deck running off of the warriors. deck devs are perfect. dont u think? kill all the set ones, all the ones in thier hand and all the ones they draw for 3 turns;)

I like using Level limit area B and gravity bind. Summon as many level 4 monsters as you like boy, but 'til you clear my stall you ain't going nowhere...

do you think they'll be set? i dont think you get thier fetch effect if they're set and flipped face up in dmg ...

king tiger wanghu
strike ninja
dust tornado
vampire lord (don't recommend this, as it gets wrecked by cyber dragon)
sacred phoenix of nephtys (don't reccomend this)
Deck devestation Virus
don zaloog (SET IT FACE DOWN!!!)

asura priest does nothing
hydrogeddon does nothing
hand disruption does nothing
chain destruction does nothing

Gadgets have a similar concept as the deck you start playing with in the Joey PC game. Gadgets are weak monsters with no effect on the field and provide card advantage through monsters.

If you play 1500 ATK normal monsters with Backup Soldier it's nearly the same. The monsters are fairly weak, have no effects and you can generate +2 with Backup Soldiers. So 2/3 of your monsters are floaters. They also need lots of 1:1 removal. And 1500 is more than 1200/1300/1400 at least. However they dont thin your deck at all, but you also dont need to run a 45 card deck. And Graceful Charity is even meaner with them. But if you dont draw Backup Soldier frequently you lose. You can play Mask of Darkness to reuse it.

Just an idea.
