Gravekeeper's Servant and Dimensional Fissure

If one player has both Gravekeeper's Servant and Dimensional Fissure on the field at the same time, when his/her opponent attacks, at the sending 1 card from the top of their deck, if it's a monster, and is thus removed from play instead of going to the Graveyard, does that mean that the condition for Gravekeeper's Servant is not met, and the attack does not go through?

The same holds true for Dimensional Fissure because there is no guarentee that the top card in your deck will not be a monster.

So GK Servant + Banisher, Macro Cosmos, or Dim. Fissure = Opponent no attack (unless they have a Horus LV6 or similar card that is immune to the effect of spell cards).

It's the reason why you can't use Card Trooper's effect with any of those cards on the field (because you cannot pay the cost).

Ok, thank you very much.

*ponders ways to abuse this*

This is a very awesome combo, and so far everything seems to check out perfectly. I can't wait to pull this off on an opponent and surprise them!!! I want to point out that Macro Cosmos (if you choose to use that card) must be face up on the field when the attack is declaired in order for GKS to prevent the attack. So no flipping it up in response to the attack, because by that time your opponent will have already discarded from there deck.

Or at least, that's how I think it would work, is that correct?

Whatever card you are using to remove cards from play- Banisher, Dimension, Macros-must be face up BEFORE Gravekeeper's Servant's effect applies to your opponent declaring an attack. If not, your opponent is free to send a card from their deck and declare an attack. I'm running two in a remove deck along with Macros, Banishers, Dimensions and D.D. Survivors. Works great. Opponent can summon all they want but their monsters are just destruction fodder until GKS can be destroyed. Lovin it!

Okay, I have another question about this sort of thing. It kind of goes along the same lines as GK's Servant.

Archfiend's Oath:
"Once per turn you can pay 500 Life Points to declare 1 card name. Pick up the top card from your Deck and if the card name is the one you declared, add it to your hand. If not, send the card you picked up to the Graveyard."

How would this work with Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure etc.? Can I not activate this effect since I might have to "send the card...to the Graveyard." or would it just go out of play?
