Graveyard Effects

Since Dark Ruler Ha Des stops effect monsters who's effects go off ini the graveyard is it safe to say that Ancient Gear Beast also stops graveyard effects?

I would think not since Ancient Gear Beast stops effects activating untill after the damage step and the graveyard effects i beilive activate after the damage step. I'm probally wrong though i usually am!!!

Ancient Gear Beast would negate Graveyard effects. It's a direct comparison with Dark Ruler Ha Des. Both say "destroys as a result of battle", so as long as that happens then the effect is negated. Just read the rulings for Dark Ruler Ha Des for details.

Barty, you're thinking of the "no Spell or Trap Cards can be activated until I've finished attacking" effect.

I was as well and i didn't notice the fact that they both say prity much the same about destroying monsters!!!
