The effect of Guardian Sphinx functions only if an Flip Summoned is
made. But if Guardian Sphinx is flip face-up following an attack or
activation of the Swords of Revealing Light for example, the effect does not function. It is well that?

Yes that is right, the card says that to apply the effect you have to flip summoned. Same goes for swarms of scarabs and locusts, stealth bird, etc.

That is correct. A Flip-Summon is a manual change of position from face-down Defense to face-up Attack. Anything else is just a Flip.
