Heavy Mech Support Platform RDS-EN011

What to say about this card that hasn't been said already... often.

It's almost a staple for Machine decks. It's also the 1st Union Monster that protects the monster it is equipped to from being destroyed, regardless how it is destroyed. (Note, it has no effect on tributing, removed from play, sent to the graveyard, or remove from the field. Only "destroy"). It also gives the monster a nice 500 ATK/DEF boost. Yes, the most useful combo is with "Limiter Remover", since the machine won't be destroyed at the end phase and retain a nice ATK boost afterwards.

It's easy to bring several out to the field with "Machine Duplication". And it makes "Jinzo" even more of a beast to deal with (a 2900 attacker that needs 2 hits to be killed).

Honestly, this card is too good for its own good. (And guys, please let's not turn this thread into another rulings debate over "Heavy Mech Support Platform". Thanks.)

I gather then Heavy Mech would go to the graveyard and not RFG.
Right. Heavy Mech is is destroying itself in place of the equipped monster. Butit is the effect of Heavy Mech support that destroys Heavy Mech support, not Bottomless, so no RFP effect.

My VWXYZ DDeck would fail without them they re a blessing especially when played using Roll Out! Brilliant..

Rollout also works well with getting Tributing Monsters.

HMSP may cost a summon in most Machine Decks, but Revival cards can also be used. ( I prefer Frontline Base)

In a XYZ deck, HMSP is super useful. But outside of that and just in a machine deck splashing, you won't have Roll Out! Frontline Base support. (It's a waste of card space unless it was an union deck) So in a regular Machine deck, it's either 0 or 1 HMSP at most.
