i just created my own site and was wounering if i could post it hear and see if anyone wanted to join so that way i will have two sites to go two for q and a

also i need members if not then i wont post no more about this topic but if you let me i will tell you all about the site itis really cool and well orginagised

As a rule the admin (& members) don't allow plugging your own sites on topics here, helps minimise the levels of spam, you're best bet would be to put a link in your signature/home page URL and hope it draws someone's interest.

There should be a "My Account" link on the left hand side of each forum page you can click on, on the page it brings up you should have an "Edit Signature" option and further down in the list an "Edit Profile" option, the first would allow you to put the link in your signature (not certain if this is ok or not), the second would allow you to enter it in the "My Homepage" part, this is definitely ok.

Be careful thought, I dont believe posting something of this topic is allowed, but you can place a link where people cold see it, like your signiature.

Well better that he/she ask here rather than go ahead and post a blatant advert for it. Although this is very much the wrong forum section for this, General discussion would've been better...

Might be worth doing up a sticky on this subject so that the questions won't have to be asked again by another and also so that people will have no excuses should they post adverts for their sites up in the forums.
