if this monster attacks a d.d warrior lady or d.d.assailant and destroys it,but the opponent remove him from play by the d.d.'s effect,can you still get lv8 out,because you can not send him to the graveyard anymore,even when he killed a monster?

You must be able to send a Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 from your side of the field to the graveyard in order to retrieve Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8

And if you somehow managed to return Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 to the field by either Dimension Fusion or Return from the Different Dimension, the effect will have been considered "reset" so you would have to destroy another monster in order to activate his effect.

Also, you may not use Level Up to level it up.

You most certainly can use Level Up to bring out Horus Level 8. Level Up sends a card as a cost, not as part of an effect.

what about if someone has Swords of Revealing Light or has a monster equiped with axe? would horus lvl 6 negate that?

swords is a blanket effect like level limit so swords would effect horus. also axe is not targeting horus so horus wouldn't effect it.

Horus LV6 is immune to the effects of spell cards, not the costs. That's why it can be used as a cost for Mystic Wok, Enemy Controller (activating, not targeting), and Level Up!

It would ignore all cards that target it (Axe of Despair IF it's equipped to Horus LV6, not if it's on another Monster, Snatch Steal, etc) as well as general non targeting effects like Swords of Revealing Light, Dark Hole, Toll, etc.

This also applies for Silent Swordsman LV5 (opposing Spells), Guardian Kay'est, The Agent of Force - Mars, and The Legendary Fisherman.

Careful about Silent Swordsman LV5...

If I'm the one with SSLV5 and I activate Level Limit - Area B, he WILL be subject to the effect. Same as if I activate Dark Hole. He only has partial immunity.
