I am bored #2...Dino's Delight

Don't fear da Reaper
Okay folks, dinos do seem like a challenge since there are so few of them. I do have to say that I have enjoyed building this deck but it needs help. Please give constructive comments and fixes. John Danker, I curse you for bringing up this one:drool_jed , just kidding, thanks for thinking of something worth the challenge.

Dino's Delight

Monsters: 16
Tribute: 3
1 Black Tyranno - Big bad boy
2 Dark Driceratops - cool looking

Normal: 13
2 Kabazauls - The only reason he's in this deck is becase of his 1700 attack and need for dino's in the graveyard.
3 Element Saurus - Decent effects, mainly for gy
3 Gilasaurus - I like this one's effect. Gives spead to the deck
3 Mad Sword Beast - not very powerful but can be effective against defense position monsters.
2 Tyranno Infinity - wow, get all these other suckers in the grave and slap them with a Soul Release and watch out.

Not a lot of synergy can be seen when these cards are out there. The real meat I feel will be in the spell cards. Mixed with the Dino's, they can be a devastating combo.

Spells: 18
2 Creature Swap - Staple
1 Dark Hole - To help get Dino's in the grave.
2 Fissure - I like this card as much as Smashing Ground, I'm just using it more often now.
2 Giant Trunade - Nothing like forcing spells back into the hand.
1 Heavy Storm - Spell/Trap removal
1 Last Will - still playing with this to see how it works.
1 Lightning Vortex - Clear you opponents field and have fun.
1 Messenger of Peace - all in all a great stall card.
1 Soul Exchange - for Black Tyranno
2 Soul Release - For Tyranno Infinity
1 Swords of Revealing Light - Stall
1 Terraforming - to bring up the next card
2 Wasteland - give the dino's a bonus.

Other than Last Will, I'm fairly happy with the spell cards but suggestions are always welcomed.

Traps: 7
1 Blast Held by a Tribute - This just looks wicked to play on your opponent.
2 Bottomless Trap Hole - Standard reasons
1 Call of the Haunted - Staple
2 Dust Tornado - Spell/Trap removal
1 Magic Cylinder - Better to give back than to receive.

Side Deck: 15
1 Barrel Behind the Door
1 Blast Held by a Tribute
1 Card Destruction
2 Compulsory Evacuation Device
1 Dark Core
2 Dark Room of Nightmare
1 Snatch Steal
1 Last Will
1 Premature Burial
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Soul Exchange
1 Soul Release
1 Terraforming

Overall I like this deck. It has it's flaws but I think it can get tweeked back into place. I know that I didn't put Premature Burial or Mystical Space Typhoon in the primary deck. Well that's for two reasons, (1) I was trying to work outside the box and (2) I forgot to put them in. That's okay though, we should all try something different from time to time. I hope that you enjoy the deck and Thank you once again to all those who gave suggestions.

I really like Hydrogeddon, but Wasteland has to be handled carefully since it will also boost Rock and Zombie monsters. Both of which will see more play than the poor Dinos. IMHO, using Tyranno Infinity is the best way to work the Dinos in the current game. I also still don't trust Gilasaurus' effect since it is very easy for your opponent to bring out something tougher. Unfortunately, there just aren't too many options to choose from in the Dino world.

Any thought to bringing in Return from the Different Dimension? Use it for a late Dino rush or bring them back to tribute 1 or 2 of them for Black Tyranno or Dark Driceratops.
