I bid thee farewell...

Don't fear da Reaper
Hello to all those who remember me and even to those who don't. I am currently taking a hiatus from the game(s) while I am recovering from a automobile accident. I know it had been a while since I had written, that being due to my wife and I moving to Dubuque, Iowa.

I officially became a home owner again on June 1st, June 2nd we started to move, June 3rd I hit a pickup hauling a piece of farm implement at approximately 70-80 mph. I don't remember much from what happened that day or for the most part the month of June. I ended up dislocating my R hip along with breaking the femoral head and the to "cup" that the hip attaches to. I aslo broke part of my pelvis (big ouch). The last thing I know for sure that I damaged was my R ankle. The Tibia and Fibula parts that make up the ankle seperated and the ligament were torn out of the majority of the ankle.

I already have been through one round of surgery but I guess I still have at least one more round to go. I'll find out more on July 25th. They tell me that I am lucky to be alive and I believe them (the engine ended up in the front seat next to me). They also tell me that I have about 6 more months of rehab.

Due to the rehab I have to do and trying to get my life back on track, I have decided that I needed a break from the game.

I have enjoyed my time here and hope to return after my recovery. I have made some good friends here. Thank you.:p

I don't you know me but even so, good luck and get well soon. You're definately right to take a break from the game and take it easy. Anyway good luck!

Greets sirch! Wow, its good to know you made it through that ordeal alive! That had to be quite an encounter. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and we'll leave a light out for you for when you return.

Take care, sirch. It's good hearing from you and knowing that things are good, all things considered. Here's to a speedy recovery.

Hope you feel better Sirch. Sickness has had me down for about a month now too. It's always best to give your body and mind time to recover from these things. Take care and see you soon.
