Not to worry, all good things in time, you don't realize what a rookie you are in the judging circle <soft smile> you've done quite well and your knowledge base has expanded quickly....patience.

This just goes to strengthen what I've said many times about how to study for an L2 and especially an L3 test. I don't know many if anyone who has passed that L3 list without being pretty heavily involved with an site that has a strong rules forum where they pick apart rulings and really dig deeply into them. Simon wasn't joking when he said he couldn't have done it without you, I couldn't have passed mine either without my involvement here.

I give credit to the COG community for that. You guys are who I look to when I'm confused out of my mind about something or have forgotten something. I've still got a lot of mechanics to learn and I'll pass all of those tests. I'm not rushing the process as that doesn't help at all.

Hopefully this weekend I can join the L2's! XD Muwahhaha!! o.o

Most of the time it depends also on level of the event. Local vs Major.

A T.O. I used to go to play at their local events paid his Judges with premium Holo's.

I've never gotten less than a box, but most of my Judging has been at Premier Events, and I'm sure most people who have judged those as well have been treated similarly.

Wow ... I didn't realize we had so many uber-cool folks lurking about out here. You LV3 types should let the staff know who you are so we can provide additional leeway for ya :D There's got to be some perks for the gods of rulings!!!
 
The L3 judges I mentioned are members, however, they don't currently frequent the sight but stick their heads in the door now and again.
 
Simon Choy or mortals is a part of Yugioh Realms and is a member of this site. He pops his head in once and a while. =P

Btw, he's L3 too.
 
Awesome Simon! I know how intense that test is and its all the more credit that you passed! Congratulations again! I'd take you out for a nice frosty Dr. Pepper to celebrate, but my travel time is limited now 8^D

I'll figure out a Cyber DP or something like that for ya! Keep up the great work!

Hmmm, its a conspiracy. You have to change your name to Simon to qualify as Level 3 judge. John's real name is Simon John Danker.. Hoo Ha!. :p
