I need some suggestions...

For some reason, I'm not seeing the usefulness of either of these cards from the upcoming Cyberdark Impact set:

CDIP-JP038
A Flash of Sealed Magic
Magic - Normal
This card can be activate when all monster card zones on opponent's field have monster in it. Destroy all
monsters on opponent's field.

Limit Lift
Magic - Normal
Pay 1000 lifepoints. Special Summon a Ritual monster with from your hand. The Ritual monster special summon
by this effect cannot attack, and is destroy at End Phase. Only 1 [Limit Lift] can be play per turn.


Any suggestions on how to use these cards?
 
Sealed Magic + Ojama Trio: when your opponent has 2 monsters on the field.

Limit Lift + Relinquished: use his effect to destroy a monster, of course its a 2 for one trade but well.

Could be used with Ojama Trio to make a cute little 2-for-2 a little while after locking them out of monster zones with the Intruders. Kind of like Lightning Vortex, except it can lock them out of monsters for a little while (TEMPO!!), blows up face-dwons, and does 900 damage (w00+?). Still, pretty situational...but it does have a use none the less (narrow or not).

Erm...I guess you could summon Zorc/Relinquished/Reshef and activate theeir effects really quick before they bite the big canoli. Not particularly useful, but could be used as another field clearer if you summon Zorc...eh.

[Instant Fusion] can be play per turn. (This special summon is treated as Fusion Summon)

Any ideas for this one? I hadn't thought of Zorc, or Reshef. But that seems do-able for Limit Lift. Thanks for the ideas.
 
I can see where A Flash of Sealed Majic can be useful with Banisher of the Light...

And as for Limit Lift, same as already stated, or if you're really hard-pressed for a tribute or getting cards out of your hand/into the graveyard really fast, OR even wanting to pay LP, I can see all of those things.

Still, both are pretty much meh. Kind of good, but mostly bad.
 
Looks to me like Paladin of White Dragon is suddenly more useful then it ever was. That's a plus for Blue-Eyes fans. Demise becomes a little expensive, but for a kill shot it's workable. Plus some of those tributes effects that need high ATK monsters are a wee bit easier to get off.

As for Instant Fusion, it strikes me as being a one shot Magical Scientist. We'll probably see more combos fro it, then from Lift Limit. At least, at first.
 
^ these guys are smart...look at these good ideas for mediocre cards...yeah, what they say plus:

You can tribute the monster your bring out for Gren Maju Garzett (how important is it EXACTLY for you to have a 4400 ATK fiend out?)...or, you know a better tribute monster. I mean, the Instant Fusion is basically "Pay 1000, bring out a monarch from your hand." It's not nearly as bad as Limit Lift. At least Fusions aren't really a minus anythying...eh. Instant Fusion might see play as a tribute enabler that has some built in versatility (though, at this point, I can't think of a LV5 fusion that is much good if it can't attack or last until next turn...).
 
Not to mention, you get to special summon a Ritual Monster with an awesome effect, use it, and THEN Tribute the monster for a Tribute Summon (since it was going to be destroyed anyway), like a Monarch or some other monster, or use Ring of Destruction or Mystik Wok with Last Will (for all you Cyber-Stein players out there....).
 
Dark Balter the Terrible, Fiend Skull Dragon and Thousand-Eyes Restrict seem the only good Fusion Monsters to use with Instant Fusion, and Thousand-Eyes Restrict is banned.

You could even easily get a Flame Swordsman out for Dark Flare Knight, thus making Dark Flare Knight/Mirage Knight accessible to non-Dark Magician Decks (assuming a Fusion Substitute for the other monster).
 
Limit Lift looks tasty...

Use it to get an instant Zorc to the field, use the roll to potentially flush things out and let you move in.

Use it to get Reshef out and use its effect to take control of your opponents monsters, heck, even use it in a demise deck.

Before things are over, you now have a lovely 8 star monster that is PERFECT for Metamorphosis, or even before if you want to Cyber Twin the field. You could also let them be destroyed if you want to have some fun with Berserk Dragon or maybe even Interdimensional Matter Transporter them out and back on the next turn, which just may eliminate the destruction effect, or at least give them another round of mayhem.

This card will definitely be merged into my "Octave of Doom" deck 8^D

"¢Randomly discard 2 cards from your opponent's hand.
"¢Draw 2 cards.


For 1000 LP gaining 2 cards, monster / magic removal or the effeft of the old deliqunt duo card is not that bad at all.
