Don't fear da Reaper
Hello again sports fans, I thought I'd poke my head back in and try to drive anyone and everyone into a frenzy and ask 'why?'.

Let's start with addictions to entertainment. Yes, I am a arcade junkie. I am also a casino freak (the slots play such beautiful music). I find it interesting on how many people I see at the casino that are of social security age, spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on the slots. My wife says their spending their childrens inheritances, who knows. I'm happy taking only 20 to 100 dollars when I go. I am also realistic in saying that I lose more often than I win. I enjoy going to watch people.

The other night I was at the casino and watched a gentleman win around $3000 on various slots next to me. He did this all with in an hour or so. I found myself fasinated with his ability to hit the right slot machine when they were starting to hit. It was amazing.

I found that I also play a lot of online poker at a certain popular poker site.
I find that there are many idiots that don't know how to play cards, they just always go all in and try to scare others away. Too bad for these mental giants that they usually get beat early. Lucky for them that they are playing on freeplay, or they would lose much cash.

So how is everyone doing on the start of what we here in the US know as the Fourth of July Holiday. I hope not many of you get injured due to fireworks. As a former paramedic, all I can say is BE SAFE!!

It is great that it's summer. That's all I am going to say about that.

For some reason, I always start out well in Poker, and I always end badly. But I've learned to pull out before that happens. I really don't know the first thing about how to play the game well, and I always do outrageous things that shouldn't work, but do, during the first few hands. No one, including me, quite understands why that is and more often then not, I'm told that shouldn't have worked.

Truth be told, I kinda hate the game, and only play it when my friends do. I generally will go all in just to get it over with so we can hurry up and play VS later. -_-() Or Halo.

Pro Poker players will tell you that amature players that don't quite know what they are doing are usually the most dangerous. Why? Because they can't read them. They have no real training in the game so they really arn't sure what they are doing and just play on instinct, if a poker player can't read you then he has to rely more on his luck. You start out well at the beginning and fail near the end because the players have finally learned how to read you, and your luck starts to run out.
 
Few weeks ago, I played flash game where I learned Hold'em Poker rules and I must say, I found it really interesting. Poker is not so known here in Czech Republic (most people prefer Mariáš, a German game). But I don't think I would be comfortable playing for money. With my limited funds I prefer to play free computer variants :)

BTW: I'm not very good at playing Poker, I always try to seize a big chance if I have and always loose :rolleyes:
 
There's a good number of casino-type games available for our arcade. I've been considering for a while now moving what we have to a Casino category and adding in a bunch of new games, I was just never sure if anyone would play it. Now that we've got the Credits integrated, I think I just may do that.
