if my opponent has a "nomi" or "spirit", something that cannot be special summoned and is his only choice when i activate IRS, what exactly happens? do the other copies stay where they are (hand, dck, grave) ??? or do they try to come to field and get destroyed/sent to GY ?? i'm kinda wondering about a "spent" L&DD on field -if another is attempting to special summon & destroy or stays in deck/hand/gy....

laffin.... that much i know - but again what exactly happens?
do the un summonable monz stay where they are(hand, deck,gy).
or do they try to hit field & get destroyed/sent to gy?

No. "Inferno Reckless Summon" requires that your opponent have a face-up monster on the field before you can activate it. It doesn't care about any monsters in the Graveyard at this time.

I think ChaosMachine meant, is Inferno Reckless Summon the same as The Shallow Grave, in that if there's any monster in the specified place, even if it can't be Special Summoned, the effect still works as fully as it can?

Yes. It's not an "all or nothing" effect, it's an "as much as possible" effect. If the monster cannot be Special Summoned, tough luck.
