Inferno Reckless Summon

Quick, somewhat off-topic question: Are the DP cards tournament legal for upcoming regionals? I have one in Pittsburgh this Sunday and would like to use a couple of the cards.

As soon as Gren maju hit's the field it will calculate the number of monsters RFP and multiply by 400, if BTH can be activated why wouldn't IRS be activated as well??

IRS only looks at the first summon, next you can summon the same monster regardless of stats.

Hmm... Doesn't the monster have to be 1500 ATK or lower? So getting 3 4000 ATK monsters on the field with this could be a little difficult. *poke* :p

I'm sure you can summon Majus with this card. But they'll have to be under 1500 ATK.

So how come no one has mentioned Chthonian Alliance so far? Heck, I might even pull out the Sword of the Soul Eater, now that I think about it.

Im wondering how this Infernal Reckless Summoning would play out in a Harpy deck, though. Since all the Harpy Ladies names are treated the same, Im assuming that you can use it to swarm with #2 or #3, to bring out two copies of #1 and boost the attack really fast. Worse yet, combine it with the Enemy of Justice card Harpy Pet Baby Dragon (see other thread) and really abuse its effect.

CURSE YOU! I WAS TRYING TO KEEP THAT A SECRET!!!!!!!!

Err... Did I say that out loud? Umm, no, what I meant to say is . . . :lookaroun

I already mentioned it. In the Lair. Newdorias / Jeroids / Tomatos are gonna pwn with Reckless Sumon and Chthonian Alliance. Mine, hands off the idea!

:p :D ;) XD

Eh...

well . . . Fiendish sleep inertia?

I think I'm going to draw something evil for my Lair Avatar. I just can't draw, and can't come up with something that doesn't look stupid. And don't have any paper or pencils, so . . .

:p

I'm still curious as to whether this bad boy is tourney legal upon release or not. *can't remember the golden rule when it comes to this sort of thing*

I sure think it is. Those things usually are.

Oops, I shouldn't have done that. After all, no one answered my question about krazy's ability to modify my posts, therefore...

Only the Gren Maju Da Eiza on the field has to be 1500 ATK. So its still possible to play or chain something afterwards to boost the ATK. Which he's more then likely to have in deck built around Gren Maju.

The thing I'm seeing that I like about this cards, is I don't anticipate people running the exact same combos ith it over and over again. it's a great combo card for all types of monsters in the game. Off the top off my head I thought about some of the monster I thought about that I don't think where mentioned

Solar Flare Dragon
Amphibious Bugroth MK-3 and then A Legendary Ocean or Umi.
Newdoria when your opponent think his full field is going to wipe you out.
Atomic Firefly just to be funny
Mokey Mokey
Guardian Kay'est

John's right. The list does go on and on...

Call it a hunch, but I'm sort of expecting Mirror Force to come back into play on the next ban list. Only because I see too many abusive swarming possibilities.

Then again, if they do push the 1500 envelope, there is a BTH to counter it. Not to mention Needle Ceiling for the mix.

The more I read this thread, the more I can't help but think, "Restricted in October". This card has so many obviously abusable possibilities that Konami/UDE will either have to Retrict it or, as Dillie-O says, unban/unrestrict certain other cards to counter it's effect.

I had the same thoughts on my looooong drive into work today. I see so much potential for this card in Zombie Decks, its INSANE!!

As someone already pointed out, Pyramid Turtle is going to reign supreme with this card and Book of Life. You wont need Pot of Avarice anymore.

Card of Safe Return, Book of Life, and infernal reckless summon.... Exodia might even have a resurgence using Nimble Momonga's, or Gear Golem the Moving Fortress (as walls), and then the drawing power along with CoSR.

I see limited or Restricted. This is such a versatile card especially in a Zombie Deck. Summon 3 turtles, and for everyone that gets destroyed, you can summon Ryu Kokki or Vampire Lord.

Summon 3 Mokey Mokey's and use Triangle Power. This is where The Cheerful Coffin might even see a little limited action on the Ban/Restricted List.

This also increases Skull Servants status. Special Summon one, get the others, activate infernal reckless summon, Triangle Power, they die at End Phase, 3 Skull Servants in the Graveyard, Summon King of the Skull Servants... well, you know the rest!!! :djmorph
