Innovative Deck Build

Alot of players run the current meta thats owning the sjc top eights, the monarch builds. I think what truly makes a good player is someone who can build an original deck and keep up with the metagame. That's why i spend alot of time looking for strategies in which i can link together and make decks out of, this deck's concept is fairly easy to understand.

Monsters: 4
3 Royal Magical Library
1 magician of faith

Spells: 33
3 A Feather of the Phoenix
3 Spell Reproduction
3 Convulsion of Nature
3 Toon Table of Contents
3 Archfiend's Oath
3 Magical Mallet
3 Card Shuffle
3 Reload
2 Giant Trunade
2 Upstart Goblin
1 Scapegoat
1 Graceful Charity
1 Level Limit - Area B
1 Heavy Storm
1 Swords of Revealing Light

Traps: 3
3 Magical Explosion

The way that this deck works is to get out one of your royal magic library on the field during your first turn, which the way this deck is ran shouldn't be hard. Once you've done that play it face up regardless of its 0 attack power, you then use a constant wave of spell cards, all the while building up spell counters on your royal magic library and building up your graveyard full of spell cards, and after every three spell cards you use, you get to draw a card due to your royal magic library's effect. If this deck is ran the correct way you should be able to run through the majority of all your spell cards within your first turn, eventually drawing into your magical explosion, which has the effect of inflicting 200 points of damage for each spell card in your graveyard. set up your magical explosion's and activate them and it'll be game for your opponent.

I'm open to deck improvements, the main point is to use as many deck thinners(spells) as possible to build up my graveyard and draw through my deck with royal magic library's effect, so if you know of any cards that would be good to use, suggest them

Wouldn't it be faster to just use Reasoning?

And by the looks of it, there's a good chance you'd be KO'ed before you get enough spell cards for Magical Explosion. Try bringing in Nightmare's Steelcage and monster removals instead of cards like Spell Reproduction. Also, Spirit Reaper is a much better stall option than Nimble Momonga.

I like the idea, conceptually; but I see this deck as too unreliable as of now.

Good luck improving it though.

20 Spell Cards means 4000 damage out of just 1 Magical Explosion. Use all 3, with more Spell Cards, and you'll certainly do enough damage.

Seeing the point of this Deck, I'm a little confused by the presence of Pigeonholing Books of Spell.

Also, Monster Gate would be handy for getting more Royal Magical Librarys onto the field for the extra draw power. If you go this way, though, reconsider your Scapegoat.

You might also want to consider dumping the Nimble Momonga and Magician of Faith altogether without replacing them. I'm sure you've seen the Life Equalizer / Blasting the Ruins Deck (see here). That one seemed to work well, so it's a good way to go.

Perhaps to get cards into the Graveyard, but those cards could easily be the Magical Explosions, and there's no way to retrieve them. Don't risk it.

Uhm... The same can be said with Monster Gate...

Haven't I seen this deck somewhere before? Wasn't there a guy demoing this deck at last year's Nationals?

no, i created this deck, but i see what you're probably thinking of, the life equalizer deck. I took the similar concept of that deck and came up with the idea for a deck that feeds off of how many spell cards are in your graveyard

Yes!! That's the one! I knew it looked familliar. Yes, yours is different, I would think even a little harder to pull off.
Let's see...in case you get stuck at any point, you could use Mist Body on your Royal Magical Library. Maybe also, think about Chain Strike and/or Magical Dimention for your Library(s) and/or Miracle Rebirth. It would be cool if you could pull off an Inferno Reckless Summon with Library! 3 Spell Cards go down, three Draws come up! It would be soooooo sweet and soooo inventive.

I think Heart of Clear Water would be the better equip card in this case as it saves the Library from being Zaborg-ed and such.

well this deck does resemble the life equalizer and reversal quiz, but it is by no means original as even the magical explosion concept has been used before... out of all 3 archtypes, id say reversal quiz would be best because reversal quiz can benefit from ur opp bashing you... this deck would ahve great use for magical stone excavation as its better then spell reproduction... this way u can stick in thunder dragons for deck thinning and discard.

id also replace card shuffle with pigeon book of spells... it would be more usedfull... the flaw with this deck is that it comes at a bad time... the time when ppl side anti-burn and royal decree against chain burn... this deck would have a less chance to finish ur opp then chain burn, imo.
