Instant Fusion and Non-Spellcasting Area

Can someone please explain to me how as long as Non-Spellcasting area is in play Instant fusion still effects a monster without an effect like flame swordsman making him unable to attack and still is destroyed at the end of the turn when Bust Steam of Destruction with BEWD still allows BEWD to attack and as long as Non-Spellcasting area is in play if someone uses Swing of Memories the monster is not destroyed at the end of the turn. What makes Instant Fusion different when Non-Spellcasting area still effects ALL non effect monsters (Ritual, Fusion, and all Synchro monsters without abilities along with Normal Monsters.) Thank you.

My guess would be that Instant Fusion places a condition on the summoned monster before it's ever face-up on the field. Whereas something like Burst Steam of Destruction or Inferno Fire Blast both try to put an effect or condition on the card while they are face-up on the field. It would make sense, since Instant Fusion doesn't summon anything until it resolves, and the condition placed upon it would be part of that process.

You missed discussing "Swing of Memories", which can be bypassed by "Non-Spellcasting Area" (allegedly).

Can I ask what your sources of these card workings are? Because I can see an official ruling on "Instant Fusion" to say the monster will still be destroyed, whereas there's only a tip note on "Swing of Memories" to say the monster will be saved. The latter can easily be wrong, so unless you have a better source of information somewhere, that's how I'm looking at things.

That is, the ruling trumps the tip. The monster is still destroyed. The clause is a condition that's put onto the field and just happens to affect a Normal Monster (and we all know conditions cannot be negated - see "Jinzo" versus "Waboku").

I have to say, though, that the "Burst Stream of Destruction" thing is rather confusing. It's also making a condition, but that condition apparently can be negated somehow. Perhaps it creates a card-less Continuous effect instead, but I'm just making things up here.

If only there was some way to pry open the Judges' List and ask. Or find more examples.
