is this card legal?

I know it is (as "Gearfried the Iron Knight"), but John, d_x, woo or skey can give the 100% right answer if they see this. If they don't chime in, "yes".

If the picture was in better shape, I could give you a better answer...lol.

IF the card is truly a misprint as it shows, the card would indeed be tournament legal. If you used it, you would have to have a 'correct' print of "Gearfried the Iron Knight" available for text and ATK/DEF verification.

i have a question about misprint cards.

if you get a card thats on the band list like say pot of greed but it was a misprint and it said jar of greed as it's name would that be tournament legal as jar of greed isn't banned.

If the card itself is "Pot of Greed", as in the color is green, the artwork is the right artwork, and the text is the right text, it's still forbidden.

The card name misprints are unfortunate, but they don't change what the card really is. Pot of Greed is Pot of Greed, even if it says "Nekogal #2" on it!

For the Pot of Greed effect, anyway. There might be judges out there who would let you use it as Jar of Greed, and there might be others that punish you for causing unnecessary confusion and using a card as a proxy. UDE probably has the stance of the latter.
