Is UDE Playing Santa Claus???

Well, there is a 'theory' that has developed over on the Pojo site. The presents may be linked to those of you who filled out the comment thing about how good or bad the new UDE Yugioh site is.

Rumor has it that this is a gift for active judges. If you've judged at any UDE sanctioned events, you'll probably get one. If not, I have no idea. I'm certified, but didn't do any judging, and I'd be REALLY surprised to get one. Really really surprised.

edit: Didn't hear that one yet. Well, I did that particular thing so if I get one then you know it's true. I can't see any reason KT would ever show me any love :D
 
Well, "Brown" finally came for a visit tonight. Went out to get a Turkey for Thanksgiving after coming home disappointed that it hadnt come yet.

I guess you get it when you least expect it!!! lol
 
Mortals, myself and another judge friend also received this package. It was a nice surprise right before my trip to Gencon.

Speaking of Gencon...I will write up a little experience post soon.
 
That would be a shame if it was only for judges who have judged a sanctioned event recently. I'm a LV1 judge - I just haven't judged any tournaments. Ah well. It will be a nice suprise if I get one, but no big deal if I don't. Still, that mat is pretty sweet.

On a related topic, I am now accepting donations of these presents from people who are no longer interested in the game.
 
I haven't received anything. I haven't judged a tournament in about 2 years now. So it could be for active judges.
 
I confirmed that the packages were actually part of the judges rewards program.

I did not get the details of how judges scored and how many points are required or how to acquire that many points. =/

Funny that they still had enough 1st edition TLM boxes tucked away for this though? Nice of them, really, to unload product that is not selling well as a gift.......eh. Guess I can't complain. Free stuff is free stuff. Got a Brain control and ULT Card of Sanctity. And lots of worthless stuff.

did i hear talk of dragons and paladins and WOW:D, but back to the point man as much as i want this gift that ude is giving out i also would just settle for my judge card as my old thing with my ude number on it is showing some wear and tear

I haven't gotten any mysterious packages yet, but I heard all the way at PC Atlanta that they've been rolling out judge rewards mailings, so I'm glad that more guys are getting them.


Now, judging at Gencon this weekend...that netted some rewards :) Tweo boxes of Heralds, two boxes of WOW, an Onyxia deck, a WOW playmat, some VS playmats, and EA Epics...I'm a happy boy (who barely found room to pack it all in my bag).
 
Nothing out here in AZ yet. Then again, it depends on when they shipped. If it was a month or so ago it is going to my old address and we'll hope that the address forwarding is still in play 8^D

It was send on November 16th to me.
 
Haven't seen mine yet....though one of the other local judges recieved his package so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Just got back from GenCon So. Cal. though and can't complain at all about the shwag package....can you say uber WOW? Good thing too because no store in our area has anything but starter decks available for WOW.
