Lots of options to choose from here - it seems a good bit of burn decks are fairly inexpensive to build. Even once your opponent knows the Ameba Swap/Box is coming, the other burn cards will put plenty of pressure on him/her and often force them into poor plays as they feel they are on a clock. Give it a whirl. It's sure to annoy your opponent.

Mask Of Darkness certainly could have a place here, you have key trap cards and a flipped up MOD is a nice thing to give away for Mystic Box or Creature Swap.

Don't overlook the possibility of CoTH and Premature Burila here. Using them to bring back Stealth Bird or re-use Ameba is a nice option. Book of Moon is certainly a consideration with Des Koala and Morphing Jar present, especially if you decide to incoperate a copy of MOD.

I'd suggest a side deck to include Pulling The Rug (against Monarchs) Twister (against Royal Decree) Compulsory Evacuation Device (works well to reclaim Ameba, a flipped up Morphing Jar or Koala, or opponent's monster) and most certainly Lava Golem! (great for burn AND getting rid of pesky monster build up such as Jinzo, LV2, Horus, Snipe Hunter, and all kinds of other bad guys that will spoil your plans)

Lava Golem is perfect for this deck. But he's not a common sadly. I agree that Mask of Darkness is a perfect fit for the deck. Mother Grizzly could be used to get to Ameba faster, but you're likely hoping your opponent won't be attacking.

It was tough to keep Premature and Call out of the deck, but I thought it better to go straight burn/stall. These common builds of mine are just "skeletons" if you will; feel free to tweak as necessary.

Thanks, guys!

A great common I use with recurrsion monsters is The Dark Door. This would let you use Mother Grizzly to bring out Ameba while keeping Ameba safe to use on your turn.

That's what I love about these columns. There are so many different routes to go with these decks. And look how many good commons we've found a use for. It just goes to show that not every card is as useless (or even useful) as it may seem at first, or even second, glance.

Keep the ideas coming, everyone!

Sadly Lava Golemn isn't common. But I always like Mother Grizzly --> Ameba.
Shien's Spy--> Lava Golemn

Before Tsukuyomi was on the ban list I used to use it in conjunction with Ameba and Remove Brainwashing. This gave me an auto-return with Ameba after using Mystic Box or Creature Swap, I was able to then summon Tsukuyomi next turn to flip Ameba face down and then flip summon again ready to use once more. Sadly, now the only thing that can really work with this is BOM.

That having been said though, Remove Brainwashing is a common (though surprisingly a very short print common) and certainly a surprise. I've used it in my Ojama Trio / Lava Golem deck to be able to attack with Lava Golem(s) after their special summon. Worst case scenario I can use the Ojama tokens as blockers and only take 300 lp of effect damage rather than a direct attack.

i suggest you using another solar flare dragon and maybe a balloon lizard or two

also maybe a common clown control might be fun to try in a couple weeks
