[JCP-YGO] Negating Summons - Timing for effect of Summoned/Tributed Monster(s)

Negating Summons - Timing for effect of Summoned/Tributed Monster(s)
from UDE's Judge Certification Program (YGO)

Player A has a fd Sangan while Player B has a Light and Darkness Dragon and a previously set Forced Back on the field.
Player A tributes his Sangan for Jinzo.

Now, since a chain has started, and we have 2 mandatory effects, which is the right moment for Player B to activate his set Forced Back? Can he still activate it or it misses the timing since it has to be chained to the chain link 2 (LaDD, which tries to negate Sangan's chain link 1)?

In reading this post it occurred to me that I would interpret the actions a little differently: Can you explain to me why it would not happen this way. Thanks

Player A has a fd Sangan while Player B has a Light and Darkness Dragon and a previously set Forced Back on the field.
Player A tributes his Sangan for Jinzo.
1. Player A has sangans effect activate, therefore Light and Darkness Dragon's effect would activate, however Player B has an oppurtunity to activate Forced Back to negate Jinzo being summoned and returned to the hand, thereby triggering Light and Darkness Dragon to chain to its activation, negating it and leaving Jinzo on the field.
2. Now that it is resolved, then Sangans effect will start a new chain and LADD will chain to negate its effect. With the end result being Player A has Jinzo on the field and Player B has LADD dragon on the field at ATK 1800 and DEF 1400 (500 lost for each time it negated an effect)

Now, to address your question. You seem to be confused as to how things would resolve.

1. The effect of "Sangan" does not activate until the Summon is considered completely successful, or negated.
2. "LaDD" cannot negate Counter Traps because he is only Spell Speed 2.

So, the proper way to resolve your scenario would be...

Player A announces the Tribute Summon of "Jinzo".
Player A puts "Sangan" in the Graveyard at this time and places "Jinzo" on the field.
The effect of "Sangan" cannot activate since you are in the middle of a Summon resolution. "Sangan's" effect will begin a new chain once the summon is successful or negated.
Player A has Priority to negate his own summon first or pass to Player B (Player A passes).
Player B activates "Forced Back" to negate "Jinzo's" summon and return it to Player A's hand. "LaDD" cannot prevent this due to the rules of chaining and Spell Speeds.
Once "Forced Back" resolves, "Sangan" activates.
"LaDD" will automatically chain to this activation.
Nothing else added, resolve.
"LaDD" negates "Sangan" and loses 500 ATK/DEF.
Player A cries because they just got pwned in the face!....;)

End result: "LaDD" is the only monster left on the field. "Jinzo" is back in Player A's hand and they did not get anything from "Sangan's" effect.
