Jinzo PSV-EN000

Well, this may or may not be moved.

Also, CotD will probably take a short hiatus while the boards are being moved so if you don't see one over the next couple of days, you know why.

To finish up Machine week we have... Jinzo. Ok, he fits into about every possible deck that can be built because of that ability to negate the activation and effect of all traps. Plus he's a 1-Tribute, 2400 Attacker, so he can hold his own against most monsters as well.

Is there anyone who doesn't know the power of Jinzo? All I will say is enjoy him until he graces the next banned list, cause his effect on the metagame is that huge (and just imagine how much things will change without him as a playable card).

Yeah, Jinzo is powerful but its a double edged sword. If used prematurely the opponent can use it against you.

When I first got hold of a Jinzo I was like "wow, the might Jinzo", and I ended up losing so many duels because I thought he was all that. I had him creature swapped (and sadly the Waboku i had was useless), Offerings to the Doomed, etc... and once I could have won the match if I could just activate my damn Sak. Armour when his Enovy attacked.

Jinzo is good for some people, but he should not be a staple in everyone's deck ALL THE TIME and revered, because there are better choices than him for the tribute slot.

Time me about it. The guy should be used towards the end of a duel where most of the spells have been used, specifically any that would A) destroy it or B) give control of it to your opponent. This guy's tough at taking out traps but he's a pushover when spells are concerned. He needs his machine friend Spell Canceller to ward off spells. Spell Canceller of course can't even take on common 1900 atkers. So unless you successfully used 'Rope of Life' on Spell Canceller and then have Jinzo on the fields afterwards beside it, you'll always to deal with either spell or trap.
