Jinzo, SORL, B. Jacker, Amplifier, Remove Brainwashing

Judicator

The Man in Room V
Situation:

Player A's Jinzo is equipped with Amplifier
Player B has facedown Brain Jacker and faceup Remove Brainwashing

A activates swords of revealing light thus causing B's Brain Jacker to flip

B uses Brain Jackers effect for Jinzo, then wouldnt an infinite loop occur?

A's Jinzo switches to B's side thus no longer negating Remove Brainwashing
A's (currently under B's control) Jinzo then switches back to A's side thus re-negating Remove Brainwashing and B's Jacker's effect kicks in again...etc.

So how should this situation resolve or be resoloved?

I did send a post to the judge's list as follows....the answer is below the question. It seems we're not the only ones who smell something fishy....however....our question remains unanswered. <sigh>

---

Mike has a face up Gemini Elf and Pole Position active on the field.

Paul has a face up Muka Muka Equipped with Axe of Despair but not enough cards in the hand (so Muka's attack is less than Gemini Elf's)

Paul draws in the Draw Phase and Muka Muka's attack is now greater than Gemini Elf's

Result? Is there a problem brewing here with Pole Position?

When was there not a problem brewing?

Well at least we can hope that they're working to sort it out so, might have the solution by the time the reprint series with Pole Position comes out... ;)
In the meantime Judges can just add curses and screams of frustration to the front and end of Pole Position's name whenever they say it. :p

Here's a bold possible solution, what if all three cards in question nullify each other for the duration of the loop? Let's say that, as soon as said player draws a card and the loop is initiated, Muka Muka's ATK/DEF returns to 600/300, Pole Position sits on the field meaninglessly and Axe of Despair (or whatever Spell ATK booster we're inserting here) sits on the field completely negated until such a time as when conditions would no longer create a loop (such as when the controller of Muka Muka plays a card, discards or his opponent plays Heavy Storm or Imperial Order.) Seems a bit more fair to both players wouldn't you think? Or am I just up waaaaay too early?

This was all soooo much simpler back when Pole Position was just a classic arcade game. Hail 8-bits!

Heyyyy, wait a second, that was a Namco/Atari game, not a Konami one. Do I smell lawsuit?? Go, Vic Viper, go! Blast that lousy car to smitherines. Power up with those Options! Weild that Cyclone laser! (Anyone ever notice how pathetically WEAK that card is, when you consider how kick-arse the Vic Viper was in the game? ;) )

So is that it? We're just simply not going to get an actual answer? Then I hope that the next nationals will have an endless loop in it (that will probably just result in the card being banned -- which doesn't help those of us that play unrestricted or traditional format).

Someone should just purposely make a deck around this loop to see what the judges will do at nationals/regionals

Now STOP that! Trying to give me the jitters are you? Like I don't have enough headaches with everything else now you have to encourage intentionally trying to make me stutter and flop around like a fish out of water? <laffin>

Remember, as it's your deck you're responsable to know all the rules of the cards in your deck (How's that for a cop out?)

dimensionalwarrior- check my Divine Wrath article to help if you have any confusion, heck print it off!!!

<Printing...printing...> I know how Divine Wrath works, but I'll print a copy so all players get a new perspective of the card (Judging a Championship here in Colombia lots of people asked me about this card...the answer: "You can't negate Jinzo with that! No matter how hard you cry, that would not destroy Jinzo!")

Who's going to write an article about Pole Position?...Any volunteers? :D
OMG! I'm feeling headaches every time Pole Position reaches my mind...Infinite loops with Muka Muka...what should I negate!?...that's too much!!...
<faints>

I think I should take an Earth control deck to the KY regionals with those cards just to watch the judges squirm :)

Change of Heart's banned. :p
Also how would you summon the Dark Necrofears, would Archfiend of Gilfer not be a better choice? Don't forget using field cards and having 2 monsters which both benefit but are of almost the same ATK. :D
That one will happen a fair bit!
