This came up the other day on one of UDE's forums about the number of level 3 in existence. It was also mentioned in a thread here so I thought I would ask the question

How many Level 3 Yu-Gi-Oh! Judges are members of the city.

Magnumcyclonex is as well, I believe.
Mortals, Shai_hulud...

Jeff_Mop and Jeff_Richardson (although neither has ever posted).

Both have posted, just not regularly, and more often than not, it was to something that was verrrrry interesting information.

Crud, I misinterpreted the number next to their username in the Member list...lol. I mistook the (0) for the number of posts instead of the Trader Rating...lol.

You'd 'think' I'd know better since I have talked to Jeff_Richardson in the Regional Threads area....lol.

So far that makes 12 in the city. Pretty impresive. I have updated my original post to include everyone who has been mentioned so far.

Ok added Purity to the list, that makes 13. John stated he thought there were around 39 total. If that is correct that puts 1/3 of them as regular or occasional contributor to the city.

I believe that total number should be closer to 45 or 50 now. There were like 4 people that passed at Nationals this year. And I've heard of a few others since then.

Congradulations and welcome to COG Rob! Great to have UDE staff members looking in and better yet participating her on COG.

Surprisingly enough, I'm unaware of anyone even taking the L3 Yugioh Rules Knowledge test at GenCon Indy. I helped out Friday with the testing and as of Sat. evening no one had even taken it. I'm surprised more people didn't take advantage of the opp., especially as much complaining as I hear about people not having the opp. to take it.

I may be misremebering, but wasn't it stated somewhere that there was in increase in Level 3s overseas instead of within the US? Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

I know they were not allowing people who had already taken the L3 test within the last 6 months and failed it to re-take it. The reason being given was because it was the same test as before.

Here's a sort of related question. Do you think they would allow older versions of the Judges Tests to be made avaiable to the public?

I will update the first post to add Rob.

John,

I think Exiledforcefreak mentioned passing at Gen Con and I know that Tenks passed at Gen Con. (He thinks he is the youngest level 3 currently by the way)

If the number is closer to 50 having 14 here is still very nice.
