Light of Intervention

Under Light of Intervention in the card registry these are 2 of the rulings:

While this card is on the field you cannot flip a monster face-down with "Book of Moon", "Darkness Approaches", etc.


[Re: Book of Moon] You cannot activate "Book of Moon" while "Light of Intervention" is active.

Questions:
1) Would this also mean you could not summon Tsukuyomi?

2) Would Tsukuyomi's effect not happen if attacked while face down(Light of Intervention is active but activated after Tsukuyomi was set face down. Light of Intervention does not effect monsters already face down)?

1. You could summon "Tsukuyomi", but its effect would just not activate.

2. Its effect would not activate - regardless of when "Light of Intervention" was activated, its effect prevents "Tsukuyomi" from flipping anything face-down.

Except it would activate. Light of Intervention would not prevent the effect of a monster from activating if its effect is manditory. Light of Intervention just prevents it from resolving.

And as we also covered when this was asked what... a week ago? Most likely Tsukuyomi would turn the monster into face-up defense position since it can still change the battle position of the monster, just not put it face-down.

BONUS TIME!!!!

If you use Metamorphosis on Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast and Special Summon The Last Warrior from Another Planet while Light of Intervention is active on the field, your opponent can't use their monster zones.

Light of Intervention makes them summon, NOT set.
The Last Warrior from Another Planetmakes them set NOT summon.


Sigh! If I had ONE more The Last Warrior from Another Planet, I'd make a deck aroudn that particular move.
