Here's the situation-

Player 1 has a face up Jinzo on the field equip with Amplifier
Player 2 activates Snatch Steal on Jinzo
Since Player 2 can now activate his traps due to Amplifier he activates Imperial Order
Imperial Order negates Snatch Steal giving Jinzo back to Player 1
Since Player 1 controls Jinzo, Imperial Order is negated which means snatch steal kicks back in
Starting the whole thing over again

I was wondering what would happing in this situation :?

Imperial Order can not be activated as that would start a continuous loop. See ruling #9 for Amplifier You cannot activate a card that would cause an infinite loop because its effect cannot resolve completely. Example #1: You activate "Snatch Steal" targeting your opponent's "Jinzo". You then equip "Jinzo" with "Amplifier". You cannot activate "Imperial Order" because it cannot resolve completely (it would negate "Snatch Steal", returning "Jinzo" to your opponent, which would negate "Imperial Order" so "Snatch Steal" would re-activate). If you activate "Imperial Order" by mistake in such a situation, flip it face-down again. Example #2: you control "Jinzo" equipped with "Amplifier" and "Skill Drain". Your opponent cannot activate "Royal Decree".

I believe that the ruling made on this is that the other player could not activate "Imperial Order" because it makes an infinite loop, but let me go check just incase....

EDIT: Thanks for finding it antony.

Yes that is why you aren't allowed to activate Imperial Order, it would negate Snatch Steal and start this lovely little dosie-do around the field over and over. That will not be tolerated in this game of such strict and logical rules.

Player A activates Skill Drain
Player B activates Royal Decree in response (they both resolve)
Player A Tribute Summons Jinzo (negated)
Player A, for some mysterious reason, plays Amplifier on Jinzo, causing it to not negate Skill Drain, which becomes negated by Royal Decree, which becomes negated by Jinzo because Skill Drain no longer negates Jinzo, whose effect becomes nulled because it no longer negates Skill Drain...

Is this a loop? (b/c no cards are moving around the field...)

You would not be able to activate "Amplifier" in that example.

From the FAQ

"¢ You cannot activate a card that would cause an infinite loop because its effect cannot resolve completely.

Since you almost described "Example #2" (having Royal Decree already active instead), activating "Amplifier" would cause that infinite loop so it cannot be activated in this case.

lets look at the text of amplifier firts

This card can only be equipped to "Jinzo". As long as this card is equipped, the effects of Trap Cards controlled by the equipped monster's controller are not negated by the effect of the equipped monster. When this card is removed from the field, the equipped monster is destroyed. This card's activation and effect cannot be negated by any other card.

your trap cards are not negated by amplifier not by jinzo meaning skill drain will still be active and negate your jinzo but royal decree will negate skill drain.then jinzo will negate royal decree and the chain continues.
i think is really an infinite loop though not sure if it is and you activated amplifier accidentally just turn it facedown or return it to your hand(depending from where you play it).
oh well densetsu you answered before me  lol
