Macro Madness :)

a big rfp pile needs dimension fusion and/or rfdd to swing for game ( and wildhearts and if you use multiple wildhearts get an e hero stratos)

if you want to summon in face up def try marauding captains for those banishers...reaper whatever

a solid beater that kills face up def by effect is ninja grandmaster sasuke ,after first atk on reaper, spy etc your opponent must burn his removal cards or loose def wall . so forces issue a bit and can open window to opp life pointe if "returned" ( lv 2 is for face downs but is a wimp - 1 and done)

I'm seeing some nice idea there. Of course ever since the 1st Marc Bannlist I've made several changes to this deck, to make it overall more effective. I'll be sure to post the new decklist soon enough.
Greetz

another thought/tack.... ddm is really sweet in the same deck as dmoc and rfdd... makes for some really wicked loops of cards...and spell recursion...if dmoc is stuck in hand use to pay for a vortex or set off rfdd and tribute...get back a spell, when killed he's removed no matter what, so rfdd & ddm return him to recur another spell...rinse and repeat (and he really dominates the field - something wicked this way comes) dd survivors and wild heart are aided by rfdd in that both maintain field presence -too, the stratos/wildheart engine fits nice here since stratos gets effects when special summoned ;)
these strats - when working - cause opponent to turn turtle - so a def pos killer or two can be a boon... drillroid , lv2, ninja grandmaster sasuke... in side at least....
another sleeper is golden homunculus...loosing last will hurt his effectiveness -but still a 1 trib that hits +3000 atk really fast in this deck.... (he can be 'shining angel'd"...although recruites do not belong here) very nice to ddm or rfdd for a big game ending push
spell striker is beginning to show up which aids tributing immensely.... check him out...

Just a quick note.
Have you given ANY thought to using say Trojan Blast?
In the setup you have your opponents' only choice is to Snatch or whatever, but instead you destroy the monster they lose lp and you get your monster back.
Not to mention they end up with a wasted Snatch or whatever they run.
I don't know.
I actually hate this deck, but if I were to run it I'd at least consider Trojan Blast what with all the E. Controller/C. Swap/& B. Controls in this format.
At least in the side deck.

hm, I believe Trojan Blast =(TB) is no good in this deck. Basically it would just be a really random fit in this deck. That being said, using random cards would simply result in failing to succesfully follow the deck's strategy through. In other words, TB COULD be a useful card in several situations, but it doesn't fit in the 'macro removal-gadget search' theme. Besides, there are a lot of cards like TB that could all be 'useful' in some situations, but you don't main- or sidedeck them because of it. I believe a good deck is based on cards that provide overall support for your main strategy. Therefore, a card like TB couters my opponent but DOESN'T benefit my strategy. Macro-decks are a lot of fun and can be hugely annoying for your opponent, but you can consider the deck as failed if you start using random cards. And that goes for pretty much any deck. Rather than having your deck being prepared for absolutely anything by using a wide variaty of cards that could be helpful in some situations, you have to go for an extreme set-up if you want to discover or create truly good decks. Otherwise you'll just end up with like a 80-card deck :)
Anyhow, I think most people will agree with me if I say that I shouldn't use TB in my line-up nor in my sidedeck.

interesting - hmmm... i would say put in an ultimate offering( even @ 41 since gadget decks play thin) just so the deck has the ability for a otk, even in mid/late game....similar in principal to having a random 'stein in a deck....a fist full of gadgets and a moby or two and its over
it dosent change the way it plays - once in a while it comes toghther for game - like machines topdecking an overload near end of game
only with gadgets - even early summon>fetch>pay>summon>fetch>pay>summon>fecth>pay until field is full and if you trib summon first for moby to clar way its game

You've got a point there. I haven't tested Ultimate Offering yet, but I can see how it can come in handy. It depends of course wether or not it'll be much of a dead draw in most games though. If not, I can swing it for game at pretty much any stage in the duel. I'll see how it goes.

Well, I always wondered about running Macro Cosmos, D.D. Survivor and then putting an Ectoplasmer in the side deck. It would be slow lifepoint damage, but it could also give you that slight advantage. I really wouldn't know what would happen, because I am unable to try it. I don't have a Macro Cosmos or a D.D. Survivor.

you could use grand convergence with macro cosmos it could make up for torrential tribute and you would not be have problem with monsters because d.d. survivor would return at the end phase. it could also help in tight spot when your opponent have a jinzo and powerful monsters on the filed and you could use cat of ill omen to help you get macro cosmos more faster

Well I tried both Grand Convergeance and Cat of Ill Omen but in reality they're both more of a dead draw during the duel. Instead I added monster removal in order to cope with monarchs, cyber dragons, etc. The problem I'm having now is that there's still not enough speed, and the need for more monster removal though I'm unsure what I should drop for it.

Thnx for the comments

why dont you use morphing jar and morphing jar #2 it could take out cards and hi leveled monster and it could help you refresh your hand cards.

Well, in a Macro Cosmos deck you could always run SoRL and Lightning Vortex to get a field advantage so you don't lose monsters to destroy your opponents monsters with DDS and Torrental Tribute. I think that would work good, but I don't know what I would tell you to remove from your deck. Confiscation works well also.

I hear you. Then why not a Limiter Removal IF you run the Ultimate Offering? I mean since you would essentially be moving in for the kill why not guarantee / Solidify the OTK? I don't know how it could help much without the U. Off., so if you don't use one why use the other?
My choice would be:
-2 Smashing Ground (I know that's not a popular thing to say, but hear me out)
-1 Snatch Steal (Doesn't REALLY help you just put it in because it's no longer banned and you missed it like the rest of us.)
+2 Shrink
+1 Limiter Removal
I see mad potential with this setup for your deck.
If I'm wrong, ignore me and send me a slap in the face.
I do think I'm onto something here.
