Magic Jammer Vs. Spell Cards activating in the Graveyard

I know "Magic Jammer" negates and destroys Activated Spell Cards when they are activated from face-down to face-up. I also know it can't be chain to Continuous Effect from Spell Cards. But how about the following:
  1. Continuous Spell Cards that has Manual Activation Effect. For example is "Mass Driver"
  2. Spell Cards that has Trigger Effect. For examples are "Malevolent Nuzzler", "Axe of Despair", and "Horn of the Unicorn" when they get sent to the Graveyard.
I asked because I was playing WC5 7 Trials of Glory game and Joey had 2 Magic Jammer"s. I activated "Malevolent Nuzzler" and he chains with "Magic Jammer". Then when my "Malevolent Nuzzler" is sent to the Graveyard and Triggers it's effect, he chained his other "Magic Jammer".

I know...I know....Don't use video games for ruling, but It got me thinking though.

It's saying to negate the both the activation of the effect and the effect itself (think they're trying to dumb things down too much again with over-explaining), don't really see what this has to do with a card activation?
What i'm saying is that a Monster Effect that activates is from a mechanical point of view, treated as card activation. Monster Card's themselves do not get "activated" only their effects do, so the effect activation is treated as card activation by the mechanics of the game.

For example, in order for Barrel Behind the Door to respond to a Spell/Trap you must chain it the initial card activation.

Conversely, when it comes to monsters you can chain it any effect activation that deals Effect Damage (ie. Cannon Soldier's effect) because in the case of monsters, Barrel Behind the Door treats that effect activation as card activation.

Hope that made sense

Hang on Barrel Behind the Door mentions nothing of card activation, only effect activation. Still confused.
The wording on Barrel is a little vague, but it terms of Spell and Trap Card's it must be chained to card activation. Probably the reason it says effect activation is because it can be used on both Spell/Traps and monsters.

Official FAQ said:
"You cannot activate "Barrel Behind the Door" against a Continuous Spell or Trap Card, an Equip Spell Card, or a Field Spell Card. So you cannot activate it against "Magical Thorn", "Dark Snake Syndrome", "Wave-Motion Cannon", or "Black Pendant"."
Both Wave-Motion Cannon and Black Pendant both include effects that are activated and deal damage, but Barrel cannot be chained to the damage because the effect is not activated at card activation.

Official FAQ said:
You can activate "Barrel Behind the Door" against Normal and Quick-Play Spell and Trap Cards, such as "Tremendous Fire" or "Attack and Receive"."
This ruling clearly illustrates that the damage must be dealt at card activation in order for Barrel to be chained to a Spell/Trap.

You can activate "Barrel Behind the Door" against Ignition Effects like "Cannon Soldier", "Catapult Turtle",...

You can activate "Barrel Behind the Door" against Flip Effects like "Princess of Tsurugi",...
These three clearly show that Barrel can pretty much be chained to any monster effect that is activated and deals a known amount of damage.

In the end this shows that Monster Effect activation is mechanically the same as Spell/Trap Card activation.

Hope that helps

Get what you mean alright, never would've even spotted that bit of game mechanics and you explained it quite well, you should take up debating! :)
