If I use Magical Scientist's effect and bring out Ryu Senshi, and then Ryu Senshi gets destroyed and sent to the graveyard in the same turn, can I then use Call of the Haunted or Premature Burial to revive the same Ryu Senshi and bring it back to the field?

No. Ryu Senshi was not properly summoned.

No, you cannot use Premature Burial/Call of the Haunted etc. to Special Summon Ryu Senshi when it is Special Summoned by Magical Scientist's effect.

In order to use those effects on a Fusion Monster must be properly Fusion Summoned with an effect such as Polymerization or Fusion Gate.

In relation to Ryu Senshi, can he negate trap effects if activated Call of the Haunted? Can he even negate it in the first place since it's continuous?

Ryu Senshi text is a bit different... it doesn't say negate and destroy

Would Call of the Haunted remain on the field meaningless if Ryu Senshi were to negate it?

Ryu Senshi can only be used negate Normal Trap Cards.
