Malicious and Diamond Dude

Can I use Malicious' effect on my opponents turn?

If Diamond Dude sends Pot of Avarice to the graveyard, do i need to select and send 5 monsters to my deck? Or do I just draw 2?

Hey Neil.

Destiny Hero - Malicious is an Ignition Effect so you can only do it during your Main Phase 1 or 2 only.

The shuffling 5 monsters back into your deck is part of the effect of Pot of Avarice. So if Diamond Dude hits it with his effect, you'll still need to select 5 and shuffle them in before drawing 2.

wow really i thought it was an optional trigger effect like Peten the Dark Clown but since i don't own one i haven't really had a good look at the card
