Has anyone heard what the new banlist will include? I'm not looking for speculation, just some factual basis. I know a lot of the time, the OCG banlist will be very close to exact for TCG banlist. Does anyone know when UDE will release the new banlist?

According to a friend who went to Jump last weekend here in FL. There's serious consideration for Chimeratec being banned and Raiza being dropped to one.

UDE usually displays the new restriction list on the official site about a week or a little sooner before it becomes effective. Until then, any rumors about it will be just that: rumors. Keep in mind that no official info about it, if any, is even allowed to be released right now.

Which is understandable. But at the same time a little bit annoying. There's always SOMEONE who will say "Oh I didn't see the new list so I didn't change my deck yet."

The sooner it's available the sooner people can arrange for alterations to their decks if need be.

All of the competitive players and even most advanced format players know when the banlist will change; because if they go to any tournaments or check forums they should notice the hightend contemplation and discussion that players and judges go through around this time.

It is under the player responsibilities to keep current with tournament related things such as ban-list, errata changes, card rulings, etc.....

there should be no excuse to not knowing the changes to the ban-list

if you are judging a tournament after any ban-list change is instituted then you should let everyone know that there has been a change in the ban-list.

if a player is caught using a deck formatted to the wrong banl-list then you shoulduse the UDE penalty guidelines under p-21 deck error - Illegal Deck and give the player a game loss and let them know that the ban-list is changed and go through their deck with them and help them to change the deck to fit within the ban-list parameters. If they cannot make their deck advanced format legal then they should be dropped from the tournament with prize(since this isn't a serious penalty such as unsportsmanship conduct)

the reason I can think of for UDE not realeasing the new ban-list till a week or two before it takes into effects is so then they could edit it at the last moment just in case and also even when they release it at the current times some players change the deck early and try to go to tournaments with that deck that is formatted to the upcoming ban-list and thus illegal
